We stayed for 2 days as a Business trip. Hence our expectation was very little. We only wanted basic needs from the hotel, but of course with basic cleanliness.||||But very sorry to say that Nandhini did not even meet up to our basic needs. We went to Nandhini purely based on our previous experience with Nandhini-Jayanagar. Though the rooms were very small, the stay was really comfortable with absolute neatness- hence we thought the J.P. Nagar also would follow the same suite.||||The bed provided was age-old though the housekeeping did a good job in changing the covers every day. Due to bad quality, we had problems in sleeping - added to this there was a constant noise from the AC machine (in fact the AC did not work from the second day, but still the noise was always there from the vent.||||The sofa, the chair , I guess, had been used for quite a long time, atleast 6-7 years that they have started fading. It didnt bother us anyway, but still it gives the ambience a "careless attitude" look.||||The bathroom is the first thing that any visitor checks. But here, all the materials were rusted- there were scars in the entire floor that gave us a creepy feeling. The towels are not available immediately but are provided based on request. This might be for cost cutting but still it is very inconvenient. Though housekeeping does a good job in cleaning the room and changing the covers, it doesnt see the bathrooms I guess. The shampoo, soaps were not refilled and they were lying just the way we left it the previous day.||||The room has wifi and it worked well also for the first day, but after that I could not see the wifi name in the available networks.I complained this to management but no action taken.||||We took complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was good (Idly, Dosa, one rice item, bread, fruits, juice) . There is absolutely no bad remark and this is the only USP for the stay.||||The staff was very nice. No complaints on their behavior. They are not to be blamed. They are only order takers and the entire look and feel and hence the long term experience about the hotel is spoiled sole ly by the management.||||Overall, this branch of Nandhini is certainly NOT living upto its name, though the cost it same. The two greatest selling points of this hotel is the breakfast and the location (right on Kanakapura road).||||Even if you are a casual visitor, not wanting to care about the comforts, this may not suite you, as the hotel management does not seem to take genuine interest in the ambience & basic hygiene. A major revamp is not required for this, just they need to cleanUp so that it could match to atleast 50% of our expectation. But reality is otherwise.||||||If you dont have any other option, then you could go for it. Otherwise, AVOID. This is not worth your hard...

Read moreAfter visiting multiple Andhra cuisine restaurant in JP Nagar area, it was out turn to visit Nandhini. Had ordered couple of times and decided to visit to try more of the varieties. Located along the busy 24th main road, the restaurant is located in the first floor, which is lift accessible. However, the parking itself is a challenge here although there is valet parking (we didn't see any valet though) and taking stairs to reach the ground floor might be difficult for those who have difficulty. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded much. We got a seat for 6 of us. We ordered the following: Masala Papad which is served as two pieces and the papd itself was spicy, maybe due to pepper based papad; Hot n Sour Chicken Soup and Chicken Manchow Soup; Chicken Kakinada; Paneer Satay; Nandhini Special Chicken Boneless Curry and Bread Basket; Special Chicken Boneless Biriyani and Gudbud. The soup accompaniments like soya sauce wasn't available and the chilli vinegar wasn't as it is supposed be, they just put some chilli chunks in vinegar and placed it on our table. The chicken main course was their special item which isn't there in menu but tasted good. Bread basket has one piece each of stuffed kulcha, Butter Naan, Butter Kulcha and Paratha. Paneer Satay is also not in their menu but available basis the menu present in online apps. One of soup was mixed up but was promptly replaced. For beverages, we ordered the following: Virgin Mojito; Orange Blossom; Trip To Heaven; Kiwi Daiquiri. All the beverages were good. Overall the food taste was good but we felt full just after the starters which makes us feel there was soda powder added. We never felt so in places we visited just after finishing starters. Some of the menu items were unavailable as well The ambience is decent and staff are really friendly and good. Service was also quick. The rest room is clean as well. Finger bowls are served on table. Price factor is less compared to other Andhra restaurants. Worth a visit once. You would get discount if you pay...
