Read more“Very very important for 1st time visitors”. Must read. Visited this place after viewing many reviews with my friend expecting some good experience. Unfortunately my expectations were shattered when I faced the reality. Here are some points which all should know. The pub owners should have a look at it. 1 - Unnecessary high cover charges collected at the entrance. 2 - No proper car parking space available. You have to park your vehicle by the road side. 3 - No indicators inside the lift stating in which floor the pub is ? 4 - If you do not accompany any ladies , all the staff will force you to take the bar counter seat. 5 - Even if you manage to get a sofa seat, you won’t enjoy at all as the seats are very small and uncomfortable. 6 - Ambiance is good. 7 - Music is not at all good. Lacks proper sound proofing. Songs curation require good expertise. They play Hindi classical remix songs which is too pathetic. Sound quality is awful. Seems like some kind of country side super crowded bar. 8 - coming to food- Yes it’s good but you need to be picky. 9 - I tried hukka . They don’t have flavours you ask rather they provided me something which they liked keeping aside my preference that too only 1 charcoal tablet and flavour for Rs.600. That’s too high. 10 - Price of drinks and food is not at all reasonable. I felt it to be on higher side. Not worthy. 11 - The bar tender served me delay as he was busy in taking selfies and gossiping among them selves. Even he behaved rudely when I followed up for my order. He didn’t know how to behave properly. 12 - Overall staff behaviours and customer centricity - I would rate it as anything below 1 star. As they behave in such a way as if it’s the only pub in town and people of bbsr have never been to any pub else where.
Suggestion to pub owner : it’s high time to take care of the points I mentioned as they are genuine else there are other options in the market.
*I am also attaching the pic of the rude bartender for the sake of all pub lovers. Be very careful from him once u...
Read moreWe visited Embassy on a cozy Saturday afternoon. The weather was just perfect for lunch—cloudy skies and a gentle breeze. The rooftop seating turned out to be an ideal spot for such lovely weather. Thankfully, it was empty that day, which suited us well as we were looking for some peace and quiet. While the ambience was a solid 5/5, the food told a slightly different story.
We didn’t order much, starting with the Asian Platter, which included Malai Paneer Tikka, Cheeseballs, Babycorn Chilli, Gobi 65, and a roasted papad. This was undoubtedly a 5/5—absolutely delicious!
For the main course, we ordered Bhuna Murgh Gosth for the non-veg option. According to my friend, it was fantastic with its rich, ghee-laden flavors (4.5/5, losing points for having too many bony pieces). Being a vegetarian, I stuck to the veg dishes. The Veg Fried Rice was another hit, deserving a full 5/5. The Garlic Naan was you know, garlicy, 4/5 (minus points for not adding butter).
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the veg main course. The Punjab da Paneer Masala was a disappointment for both me and my friend. It leaned on the sweeter side, lacked the signature masala punch, and the dish was bland. Personally, I would have preferred a spicier, more flavourful version—this was a 2.5/5.
Overall, the experience scored an 8.5/10—a memorable outing with incredible ambience and some standout dishes, though a few could have...
