On May 12, 2023, our group of seven visited Bistro Y with the hope of enjoying a satisfying dining experience. However, our visit turned out to be a complete disappointment, leaving us deeply dissatisfied and regretting our choice of restaurant.

One of the major issues we encountered at Bistro Y was the poor quality of the food. The fish dishes served to us were far from fresh, emitting a strong and unpleasant odor. It was clear that the fish used was not of good quality or had not been properly stored. Additionally, the mutton was undercooked and failed to meet basic culinary standards. The lack of attention to detail and care in preparing these dishes was disheartening. The only saving grace was the chicken, which was decently prepared and tasted satisfactory.

Our dissatisfaction extended to the beverage service as well. When we ordered beer, we were served bottles that were dangerously close to their expiration date. One batch was set to expire on May 13, 2023, which was unacceptable. Upon requesting a replacement with a fresher stock, we were shocked to be served beer that had already expired on April 23, 2023. Such negligence in handling beverages reflects poorly on the establishment's commitment to quality.

Overall, our experience at Bistro Y was marked by a lack of freshness in the ingredients and substandard food quality. The inconsistency in the beverage service further added to our disappointment. We left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied and with no intention of ever returning or recommending it to others.

A gastropub located at 10 minutes walking distance from College More, Sector 5, Saltlake. The ambience is quite groovy and seating is comfortable. It is well arranged for large groups and parties.

We, a group of 8, walked in during the lunch hours and ordered a number of different dishes. I tried a bit from almost everything and here's what I liked the most-

• MUSHROOM A LA GREQUE- RECOMMENDED! A creamy mix of mushrooms served on crispy shortbread and topped with cheese. It tastes really good, the quantity was a bit less though.

• MUTTON PATIALA- RECOMMENDED! Mutton mince kasha wrapped in fried eggs. A must try!

• VEG PENNE ALFREDO PASTA- It was creamy and flavors were well balanced.

• CHEESECAKE- I loved the flavor of coffee in it and the texture was nice too. Good thing they didn't use too much whipped cream in it.

We also tried some other dishes like-

• Dahi Tikka Kebab • Chicken Quesadilla • Fish Lehsooni with Cheese • Heb Crusted Fish Fillet • Schezwan Prawns • Mixed Fried Rice • Lemon Tart- It had a strong smell of eggs (probably needed more essence)
