Quietly tucked in the bylanes of Salt Lake, this new Asian cafe has really become quite a hot topic for the foodies around Salt Lake and the city. I eventually made it here after it got quite a lot of hype via social media, and it really caught my eye upon arrival. Wonderful, cozy ambience along with good aesthetic vibes really was a good start to my visit here. The Staff were really curious and helpful upon helping me choose from the menu.
My order included: Vietnamese Cold brew A Japanese Jiggly pastry Chicken Steamed Wonton in Chilli Oil
I have to say the second and third options were amazing. The wontons were cooked to perfection and it was more of a melt in the mouth moment.
The Vietnamese coffee was dissatisfying as it tasted like over diluted water with a hint of coffee. After having several Vietnamese Cold brews from different coffee joints, I'd know how much better they taste, and this one was a 1/5. Please try to improve on coffee and other ingredient measurements while making it the next time. On a positive note, I'd definitely return to try more stuff...
Read moreNd The Food Hopping Continues with the lovely Korean Food joint in Salt Lake. On first visit we played it safe. Chicken wings in Korean Sauce - 5/5 in taste, quality nd quantity Roasted Chicken Salad - 5/5. Straight forward dressing, juicy chicken, fresh veggies.. pretty much all I want in my salad Roasted Pork Steam Bao - 3/5. The bao itself was soft nd plump but Expected Chuck's of roasted pork but instead found minced meat which barely taste of pork. The chilli paste sauce was however a game changer Jasmine Tea - 4/5 Green Tea tasted like Green Tea but the Jasmine aroma was missing. Double Cappuccino - 5/5. Super hard hitting rich coffee. Double espresso at its blended best. Rich Chocolate Chiffon Cake - 3.5/5. Ok-ish. Nothing to write home about. Safe to say, they know the Korean stuff. Definitely visiting again to try some other...
Read moreVisited this place after seeing so many reels on Instagram but ended up being disappointed. We had ordered Tiramisu espresso bubble latte, Creamy iced coffee, Pork gyoza and spicy tuna kimbap. The Tiramisu bubble latte was good but the Creamy iced coffee had less coffee in it and a lot of ice. The pork gyoza was decent but the most disappointing dish was the spicy tuna kimbap. Kimbap supposed to have vegetables in it but this one didn't have any except a thin layer of lettuce leaves maybe. Also they are using canned Tuna (not mentioned in the menu) which smelled and tasted stale and I couldn't eat more than a piece. After asking if we could order something else in place of that as we were not able to eat they refused our request. Really disheartened by the behaviour of this place, not...
