Anmol Pal Hotel — Restaurant in Bihar

I had memories of going pal hotel since childhood whenever we wanted to celebrate birthdays..... But many things have changed now.... Now when you reach this "pal hotel" first thing you question tht Is this one original pal hotel or fake one...... Because there are two pal hotel adjacent to each other and both claim they are original.... I went up with this pal hotel which claimed "purana and asli pal hotel".... At first it looks good but when you sitting there and ordering food you start to realize this is not the one.... Its pathetic waitering service and unprofessional waiters make you realize "damn wrong guess.. This is fake pal hotel"...when i ordered my food it took plenty of time and i was thinking of its pathetic service but i saw one couple right next to me and trying to call waiters, way before we arrived at hotel.... They were trying to call waiter and he was somewhere busy chitchating and totally didn't saw tht couple which eventually left after sometime...

Now about food... Which is overpriced and smelling.... We ordered chicken kadhai and butter nan.... Chicken was smelling and tht butter nan had no butter on it... It was dalda nan.....

Ok after somehow eating tht smelly food when i paid bill thn waiter arrived and gave me my returned money after paying bill... I picked up money and kept in pocket but my wife realized i forgot to give tip ( i agreed to give tip after my wife told me to do so)....i took out same money he returned and tookout 50 rs to give him and saw tht he returned me less money wht he should had returned me... It made me furious and i called him and asked same.. He acted loke he didn't do anything wrong.. He gave me all notes and he hid coins purposely..... After asking after my realization he showed me where was coins......! 😂

Conclusion : dont ever go to pal hotel rather go...

This is the vintage Pal hotel. I remember I used to go to this hotel in my school days, and at that time it was one of the best hotels in the city. Everyone has eaten at Pal Hotel in those days.

We were in confusion if this is the original pal hotel. There is one more pal hotel just beside this. But when I looked at the cabin structure, I was almost sure this is the old pal, which was once very famous. But is in very bad shape now.

The atmosphere here really needs some maintenance. Curtains are old and in very bad shape. Maintenance is worst. No cleanliness whatsoever.

Food however is decent. With respect to the price they are offering. I would even rate the food as good. Not the best though.

We tried some food, The dosa was good. Chole Bhature was decent, Chicken chowmin was average, and the butter chicken...

I will start with a con first, the food is oily , but if u can go past that, taste is excellent, specially considering the price. A person depending upon how hungry he is can easily fill up from 150 to 200 rupee per person. The lachha paratha while hot was very tasty and flaky and one is enough for one person. The place is filled with hustle and bustle, still the service is relatively fast. One can try dal makhni ,egg masala ,mix veg and palak paneer. Non veg food and assorted sweets are also served. There are cabins at one side for family, although I found them a bit small for comfort. It was comfortable on a may afternoon even though I couldn't find an ac but there were ample fans. They don't take bookings but a 5 to 15 min wait time can almost guarantee a table or even a cabin. Seating...
