Looks can be deceiving. My experience is from my recent visit to this restaurant. When you first enter this restaurant, the thing that you will first notice is cleanliness. The place looks clean. It is a small area but well planned. Some of the seats might feel a little congested. The behaviour of the staff was average. The wash basin looked clean. The seats and table were also very clean. Since food is the main priority so I was very much disappointed. I had ordered paneer biryani and my colleague had ordered chicken biryani. The rice on both the dishes looked similar and we just felt that according to the order they add mutton, chicken, paneer and so on. The quantity on the plate was ok. One other thing that was disappointing is that you have to order raita separately. The taste of both the dishes was average. It actually was almost tasteless. We had to add salt and pepper to feel something . I truly felt that this dish was cooked for the children because there was hardly any masala and spices added. As a final verdict I think you should skip this restaurant and only go in if you do not find an option. Hope you find this helpful.

As a lifelong biryani lover, I walked into this restaurant in Patna with the hope of experiencing something rich, flavorful, and authentic. What I received instead was an insult to the word biryani.
What they served can only be described as boiled rice with a single piece of bland mutton — no fragrance, no saffron, no layered masala, and certainly no soul. It felt more like sad boiled rice with meat rather than the royal dish that biryani is meant to be.
The most shocking part? They don’t even know the difference between biryani and mandi! And yet, they proudly serve this dish under the label of “biryani.” This kind of culinary misrepresentation is not only misleading, it’s unacceptable.
What really stings is this: I’ve tasted something very similar 14 years ago, when Patna was still unfamiliar with real biryani. Back then, there were only a handful of biryani shops, and quality was hit or miss. I genuinely believed that with time, awareness, and exposure to better culinary standards, such places would evolve. But clearly, some of them have chosen to remain stuck in the past — serving the same bland food under a popular name, hoping no one notices.
Even roadside biryani stalls today do a far better job than what I experienced here. And yet, there are people who seem to visit this place regularly — which only makes me question our standards as consumers. If we keep rewarding mediocrity, we are the ones holding back progress.
Honestly, there should be a Biryani Association of India — yes, I’m serious — to uphold the dignity of dishes like biryani and hold such places accountable.
Summary: ❌ Tasteless, dry rice with boiled meat ❌ No resemblance to real biryani ❌ Zero improvement despite years of opportunity ❌ Absolutely not worth your money or mood ✅ One lesson: Never return
If biryani means anything to you, please avoid this place. Food like this sets us back,...
