As has been mentioned in umpteen reviews pertaining to this age old Restaurant, the prices are surely on the exorbitant side with simple starters being priced the lowest at ₹280. The quality, taste and ambience in no way justify the premium being charged along with a mandatory 5% service charge. With respect to the food, it cannot be said to be bad but at the same time cannot be classified as tasty. The dishes lack a certain zing or wow factor which one often looks for. Ordered the Manchow soup whose flavours were on point. The chilli potato was made by saucing French fries up ( yep : जुगाड़ ) and had to be sent back for an oil bath since they were not crispy at all. The fried rice had a subtle smokiness and generous portion of egg while the sautéed vegetables in Hot Garlic Sauce had a nice hint of spice. Read moreSince, this was my visit to patna after ages, I just wanted to try good food with nice service. Went on recommendation to this restaurant and the whole experience seemed pathetic, as soon as we entered smelled like a toilet gate was opened, it smelled so bad and intolerable. Though I felt like just turning back, my family said it wouldn’t be nice to move out like that. So, I respected their decision and somehow made myself comfortable though the foul smell was unbearable. Icing on the cake, after eating food, we reached home and after a couple of hours both my kid n husband got food poisoning. I didn’t feel like eating anything so, I had just plain dal n roti. But they ordered a good menu. N that seemed to be the worst experience when someone gets sick after eating out. Pricing is high but performance is...
