Very calm place located in the center of city, right next to Gandhi Maidan and almost opposite Gol Ghar. This is a tourist attraction and remains open on almost all days except government holidays. It has its own parking lot so even if you are travelling there in your own vehicle, it won't be a problem. Generally school children are brought here on tours, so individual visitors are few. It has a meeting/auditorium hall towards the back and above it there's a small library. They have a small book store too where they keep a lot of literature on or said to be written by Gandhi. Somehow new publications as not so economically priced, as they used to be. The bust of Gandhi installed here was inaugurated on 10th June 1975.
