I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the drastic decline in quality and service at The Soda Fountain & Milk Bar. As a loyal customer since 2018, I've witnessed the gradual degradation of their offerings.

Taste and Quality:

The Masala Dosa, once a favorite, is now a disaster. Overcooked potatoes, lackluster flavor, and a general sense of carelessness in preparation. Other dishes have also suffered a similar fate, with ingredients seeming stale and uninspired.

Pricing:

Prices have skyrocketed, making it a rip-off for the subpar food they serve. The value-for-money proposition is completely lost, making it a waste of hard-earned cash.

Service:

Waiters are now pushy and entitled, demanding tips outright. This is unacceptable and makes the dining experience uncomfortable. The staff seems disinterested in providing good service, further adding to the disappointment.

Comparison:

Basant Vihar, Pramod Ladooo Bhandar, and Pannalal offer far superior South Indian cuisine, with better taste, quality, and service. These establishments understand the importance of customer satisfaction and deliver on their promises.

Suggestions for improvement:

Revamp the menu and focus on quality ingredients. Reconsider pricing strategy to reflect the true value offered. Train staff to provide exceptional service without expecting mandatory tips.

Never ever been to such a pathetic restaurant.white dress of waitors may seem attractive but they are very unprofessional and ill mannered also kitchen is very dirty and food was stale . Dosa stuffing was stinking and sambar had water only . I have been to fancy as well as road side resturant but trust me its cant be compared to any .i never suggest that u go in this restaurant his gives poor servicing & late and they gives people hair in dosa . and his owner take high cost gst of food plz don't waste ur money in this restaurant its better than u go nd eat in daba only good thing about it is that it is opposite gandhi maidan where they fool customer by their pomp and show. I had ordered 2 types of Dosa in my last visit. Masala Dosa and 2. Mysore Masala Dosa The quality was poor. Potato in Masala Dosa overly cooked and didn’t contain any taste. The chutney and Sambhar was having not taste. The Mysore Masala Dosa contained days old Tomato. Anyone can just tell by taste who had Dosas in Southern India. The Road side Food Cart prepares better Dosa than Soda Fountain. The Cashier was adamant about quality when I complained to him. He said Few People said “we have never eaten this quality of Dosa” .
