We had an absolutely appalling experience at Chulawalas. As a group of sober, well-mannered men, we went there solely for lunch — not the bar — and had even informed them of the same in advance. But the moment we arrived, we were shamelessly insulted and told we couldn’t sit because they “only allow families.”

When we asked, what if we were a group of girls?, they blatantly replied, “Then we wouldn’t have asked you to leave.”

Chulawala had very mixed reviews but my visit to this place has been wonderful every single time. A small setup on the ground flood of Krishna Resort serving mouth watering seafood.
