Would suggest one avoids this place unless one lives right next door, or are out shopping in LPN, and even then only if one has a deep pocket.
While I don’t mind paying big bucks for good food, or food like Japanese or Korean which are dependent on a lot of imported ingredients, one can’t really say that about Lebanese cuisine since almost all the ingredients can be found locally (besides we could spot the Dabur honey and easily available olive oils in the glassed in kitchen) .
The place is more than a bit chaotic . The staff are so poorly trained that they rush around like headless chicken , achieving precisely nothing : it took us about 40 minutes to even get the attention of one of 3-4 waiters serving a mere 6-8 tables (including at least 2-3 tables for just 2 people) , the chef who seemed otherwise a nice guy (when he came out into the cool of the restaurant) was shouting at the staff all the time through the glass serving hatch right next to our table (maybe since hot and ill tempered inside the glassed in open kitchen 😁, esp given the inept staff he has to work with! ).
What is worse , the waiters don’t know anything about the food they are taking orders for, and also don’t know what the kitchen in this tiny restaurant has on that day. With all the to and fro for them to ask the kitchen it took us about 10 minutes to place a very simple order for my son and me .
The food was okay (I won’t say bad, but not spectacular either compared to similar food eaten in the Middle East or Lower East Mediterranean) and frankly extremely overpriced for what it is . A normal sized shawarma for Rs. 550 is crazy when the much better tasting Arabian Nites one is merely Rs.180 . Besides this doesn’t even come with pickles or relish or anything . And the Labneh and Shatta chilly were also ridiculously priced for mere dips in average sized portions .
And the location in crowded chaotic Lajpat Nagar all didn’t help at all on a hot and humid day! …… with traffic jams on the broad road outside which is completely messed up by chaotic parking , Ubers who cancelled successively after 10-15 minute waits, rapacious autos (at least 10 said their meters weren’t working and demanded a price higher than the ac Uber that took us there had cost from Vasant Kunj had cost)
But their garlic...

But this time, the quality has completely fallen apart. The dip was sloppy, bland, and lacked the authentic texture and taste it once had. No dry fruits, no depth — just a disappointing mess.
And to top it off, I was charged ₹550 + box fee + GST, bringing the total to ₹600 — absolutely not worth it for what was served.
What shocked me even more was the response when I called to share my feedback — they hung up mid-conversation, instead of addressing the concern professionally.
Sadly, Agasi is now a no-go for me. The quality, the value, and even the basic courtesy — all gone.
EDIT: I’ve just received a reply claiming my review is false. I want to clarify that I have no reason to lie. I can provide the order time, date, and even the call log if needed.
If something you’re serving is not as good as it used to be, that’s valid feedback. Calling it misleading instead of taking it as constructive criticism is disappointing.
I used to be a regular here Unfortunately, the experience now is nothing like before. If you choose to ignore feedback and shift blame onto customers, it only reflects a lack of professionalism. I genuinely hope you take this as an...
