Bokan — Restaurant in Delhi

Recently! went to this newly opened outlet in east of kailash named "Bokan". This is a farm house type of restro small but a happy place, surrounded with greenaries. Such a postive vibe place it is. This place is design in such a manner ,so that there is lot of sitting option like u can sit inside and outside and in terrace open air as well. This place is lit specially in night. And also a good place for lunch specially in winters noon under open sun completly blissfull. Ambiance is pefect for date or to spent time with your loved ones. Sittings are comfortable as well. Staffs were humble as well

What i had - ° Crispy chilly corn & wild mushroom - It was cripy and yummy in taste. ° Grill chiken satay - Thou m not found of satay but it was nice. ° Cilantro chicken dimsum - It was juicy ,wish the quantity is bit more. ° Chips & Dips - it was nachos, served with fries, onion rings and potato wedges with three different types of dips. ° Veg gourmet pizza - Nice thin curst pizza loaded with veggies and cheese. Vegetarians would definetly like it. ° Aglio olio - This is my fav and a must try dish. ° Dal makhani - quite flavourful it is. ° Kadhai paneer - M not a paneer fan but this is flavourful. ° Chicken tikka butter masala - This this just wow. loved it to the core. ° Chicken biryani - Biryani was not upto the mark. They surely needs to work on it.

I went to this place on Friday evening for drinks n dinner with a friends This is the SLOWEST cafe i have ever been to in Delhi NCR. the decor was average, but the major put off was their POOR service We had ordered Bokan Special Veg as well as Non veg platter Not exaggerating it took them 50 long minutes to serve the Veg Platter that too incomplete some of the portion was served post 10 more Minutes. As the server was still not sure when will the Non veg platter will be served, we asked to get some peanuts, and those peanuts were soggy. Finally, after a LONG wait of 75 Minutes Approx they came up with the Non veg Platter & the food was not even warm, I returned it to the sever & he came back with Proper Hot snacks within 10 Minutes. In all it was very very bad experience. Food was good no doubt but by the time it came we had lost our patience. Also i was not sure about the amount of bill that we got But i did not checked it properly so really cannot comment on the pricing of the place. Complete waste of time, Won't suggest this...

Hi, I called at your booking number to book a table. I was out somewhere already so i checked with your staff who was on call if it is okay to come in shorts and sneakers. He told me it’s not okay and i won’t be allowed. Just wanted to understand the reason for biasedness among genders! Why my wife or other women can come in shorts and i can’t? He didn’t answered me well and disconnected my call. I called again at first he did not pick my calls and lastly he picked then your staff handed over the phone to some other staff member of yours. He started abusing abruptly. I do not think i asked a wrong question and many top notch places in Delhi allow men in shorts. Being in 21st century such shallow minded thinking of yours seems so disgusting and lame. Obviously i am not dying to go your bar as for a place where customer means nothing. But, please take this as a suggestion that stop spoiling your image by hiring such goons and then expecting rich...
