Draavin Canteen opened only last week in Gurgaon at Dlf Downtown and i could not wait to take my firang bosses out for a meal closer to office. The menu is a Rockstar with some amazing dishes curated by Chef Ruchira Hoon . The interiors are very tastefully done and the washrooms are sparkling. The staff is very sweet. I started with the mango rasam and the cheesy paniyarams and i was already blown away. Loved the mocktails, very refreshing and different and the cold filter coffee was banggin. My gora boss loved the Andhra green chilli chicken and mutton pepper fry with flaky malabari parottas and I loved my mushroom ghee roast. The star of the meal however were the desserts. The filter coffee soft serve was just what the caffeine Addict in me loves. The Payasam Tres leches experience cannot be explained in words. It was beyond divine. Something I will go back for. The bill came to about 5600 for 3 People including 4 mocktails, but every morsel of this delicious food is something I will go back for time and again. Must visit Draavin canteen, now serving from Dlf...
