We went to this CCD in NFC community centre this morning at 11am. It was thinly crowded, well maintained and clean. We ordered cappuccino and garlic bread and were served almost instantly. However, they charge ₹100 extra if you ask them for a 'strong' coffee (which is as much as the normal price of the coffee itself). This sort of is a hidden charge as it isn't mentioned anywhere in the menu card and only vaguely referred to in the bill. Upon pressing, the salesgirl had to call the manager to provide me with the details of the money break up. CCDs are overpriced, that's a given. However, be strongly advised to ask if additional charges would be incurred when the salesperson suggests any addition or increment to what is mentioned exactly in their menu card. Read moreGreat as ever. What do I add here? Let's see...the ambiance is certainly warm and cosy and there is a lot of space compared to some other CCD outlets. Friendly and helpful staff and there is variety on the menu too. I love the devils own and ice eskimo a lot and wish the one I'm missing was with me because we did everything together so I don't feel like going to Nirula's for hcf which used to be an absolute necessity but it needs company as I feel like and idiot if I have to go alone. So no more hcf, coffee, steamed chicken momos or the like as it takes...
Read moreLocated on the edge of the CC market in New Friends Colony, this CCD has all what you might expect from this franchise. That is, speedy service, tasty coffee and comfortable ambiance where people can sit and chat for quite a while.
Although it has three levels: Basement, ground floor and a terrace, the only level where you could enjoy your coffee on any day is the ground level. The basement is poorly air conditioned and the terrace does not have rain protection. Although one has to say that the staff are well mannered and very respectful at this...
