Shish shawarma — Restaurant in Delhi

Shish Shawarma, now shifted inside the mall kind of complex in New Friends Colony Market.

Usually when you think of shawarma, you’ll remember Al Bake in NFC and you get to eat one type of typical Keema type of Shawarma, which is now have didn’t able to maintain their taste.

Shish Shawarma, is serving you ample type of Shawarma where you have in mutton / chicken and in veg as well.

It is a very small eatery place and have only 3-4 high chairs to dine in with.

I ordered Mix Non veg shawarma which contain Mutton and Chicken Seekh inside one Shawarma roll. It is served with their own made Mayonnaise along with some two veg salad pcs.

Ordered their Jeera Laban beverage which is actually Chaach in our local language but taste good.

The taste of seekh was good and taste like fresh. During my visit have heard and see many swiggy staff to pickup their ordered.

Good place and fully recommended to all the shawarma lovers.

I had heard about the famous Shawarma of Al Bake new friends colony and reached the market on my way back home from Faridabad and was very disappointed and came out of the restaurant. As soon as I came out I saw a board of Shish Shawarma and remembered someone mentioned that they served good food, so I walked in. Located in the main Market of New Friends Colony, this shop is barely 30 meters from Al Bake and is a small outlet with just seats for 5 people with no tables. It had a limited menu with only few items. I entered and saw that they serve Shawarma too, so I ordered for it, to my surprise they served a perfect Lebanese Shawarma and not a chicken roll like Al-Bake. The Shawarma was brilliant to taste with automatic bread and their filling was excellent, unlike any I have had across Delhi, I have only had such wonderful creations during my Dubai holidays. Shish Shawarma has been my favourite for a very long time. They have an excellent menu, which is very healthy and is probably the only health conscious menu in the New Friends Colony market complex. Their menu has an authentic Arabian taste and their staff is very polite and cooperative. I had Chicken Shish Salad last time I was there.
