The food was a little overhyped. Ordered Chicken tandoori momos (both dry and gravy) very average in taste, the momos chutney was of no good. Chicken lollipop was also not up to the mark, was a little hard. Mutton nihari was also okayish in taste but the mutton was kinda hard and very chewy and not soft and tender as it should be. Chicken changezi was okayish too but was soft and tender.. The things that stood were the chicken malai tikka, it was very rich, flavorful and delicious. The naans and khameeri were also good.
The service is top notch. The staff is very very hospitable and sweet. They went an extra mile and gave us a little biryani free of cost for my 2 year old so that he could have his own food.
The restaurant is very accessible and the seating and ambience is lovely..
Will try some more items soon from there just because of their hospitality and the zeal to provide the best experience to...
Read moreSo It was Sunday evening . We all decided to have dinner at shaheen bagh after exploring much we found this restaurant which was jam packed and had a waiting time of 15 minutes we had a table and tried their tandoori chicken momo , chicken biryani , HOD chicken roll and jahangiri chicken with kameeri roti
So talking the food. The tandoori chicken momo was good but the biryani was just bland it was served with boiled chicken and few spices and the jahangiri chicken was just okay i could be much better in terms of spices and the worst part was their rolls . Seriously this was the worst kathi roll i ever had in my life No doubt the bread ( lacha paratha ) was good. But the filling inside was just rubbish in taste . Im wondering how people can like this food
We spent around 750 bucks and ended with negative satisfaction at the end .
I'm not defaming them . I just shared my personal experience that i...
Read moreA small eatery in Shaheen Bagh hardly makes its presence felt but delivered tasty food being a bit costly as per the portion served. My friend and I stopped for a quick bite ordering a Chicken Biryani and Chicken Roll.
The service was excellent and a tad fast considering there were other customers on the line. The taste of Biryani was satisfying, if not anything too exquisite, but the portion was a bit tiny for its price. However, the Chicken Roll was fantastic considering that the paratha was perfectly made and it took me back to the nostalgia of my city Kolkata. The filling of the roll was typically more than it is generally served putting a smile to the face.
Overall, considering the type of eatery, the items' price are a bit on the higher side, with the sole exception...
