We found references to the shop online with claims it's old and authentic....

Decided to try cause we all like the brown part of the milk cake we get across the city. The owner very graciously agreed to wefast to me and I was asked to pay later when I get the delievry.

When it came and we opened the well packed container I WAS SOLD. it looked amazing, smelled great and tasted divine. The crumbly all brown not disguised under too much sugar...heaven.

In fact I sent a box to my Mumbai friend who loves milk cake and raves about a shop.in Mumbai that's great. The owner mentioned it will stay and reach well, they can put in fridge and heat and eat at leisure. So true. My friend was screaming with joy when he ate:).

My take it's the quality of milk and the age old style of making with care and love for their food. Keep it going cause I want it coming:).

Bhai Wah! Milkcake is just superb, had one authentic after years (probably even superior to the ones in Tijara), just right in all senses, be it the sweetness or the consistency or the baking, everything in perfection, probably is the reason why they don't get into the commercial scale and keep limited quantity. Being age old shop and due to its being at the grassroots level you only get 2/3 types of sweets that too depending on the occasion, season etc.

Remember the taste and softness when it's just been taken out of the utensil is an experience, that noway matches after been put in refrigerator. The price tag though costly is rightly deserved. Milkcake @650/kg and Rabri @650/kg

Old delhi is full of hidden gems and this is one of them. Had heard of this place from a friend on Instagram and wanted to try it out. So went it a couple of days back and tried their gajar paak & kalakand(milkcake).

Gajar paak was good, very aptly sweetened.

What I actually wanted to try was their milkcake, and man it was utterly delicious & satisfying. One can actually feel the granules while eating, which is how a perfect milkcake should be.
