recently dined at Shri Hari sharnam and while the food was decent, the overall experience was marred by the undisciplined behavior of the staff. From the moment we arrived, the service felt chaotic and unprofessional. The host seemed distracted and failed to acknowledge us for several minutes, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Once seated, our server was inattentive, often chatting loudly with colleagues instead of checking on tables. Orders were mixed up, and when we pointed out the mistake, the response was dismissive rather than apologetic. Additionally, we witnessed staff members arguing openly in the dining area, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The lack of professionalism extended to basic tasks—tables were left uncleared, It’s clear the staff could benefit from better training and management to ensure a cohesive and respectful service environment. While the food was satisfactory, the undisciplined staff significantly detracted from the experience. I hope the management addresses these issues, as it’s a shame to see potential wasted due to poor service. I won’t be in a hurry to return unless...

So life met me between the eyes, more at the stomach level to be truthful, at the modest but clearly outstanding, eatery, Shri Hari Sharnam, above Crown Hotel; it came tops as per unpartisan shop-keepers suggestions and yes also the inevitable Google Aunty/Uncle search, just a stone’s throw from the venerable Chainna Ram and Meghraj Sweets. There is hardly any point in waxing eloquent about the food, which would have you kissing the cooks hand, after you’ve eaten your own fingers. In the princely sum of Rs 150/- I had a Thaali with nine options all as proclaimed by the eatery in Desi Ghee and Olive oil preparation. Washed down with the help of Thums-Up. loved it enough and more to get some things packed and even my grown 24 year old son, loved the halwaa, being from the generation n the Yankee type which usually goes gaga ONLY on confectionery, ice creams and chocolates Just...

Sucks! The one at "kashmere gate" The manager sitting at the restaurant is too rude. The staff is not at all friendly. They won't help you in any way and keep giving you bad looks. They treat their customers in a horrible way once they have done the payment! They will not inform you about anything , won't assist you and if you complain , they will shout back on you. The staff will keep laughing on u without any reason.. and by laugh I mean laugh.. not a friendly smile!! And yes! The security person is better than the hotel's staff! If you need any help.. he will help you. Not the people at hotel. HORRIBLE...

This is my second Shri Hari Sharnam location that I have visited. First one being at Kashmiri Gate and hence the expectations were very high. This one at Chandni Chowk is equally great if not better. I have tried their veg thali and it is as solid as it can be. All you can eat for Rs. 150 with all stuff made in desi ghee. 100% honest, more spiritual and seva than a commercial enterprise. On the first floor. Come with your family. Easily one of the best bhojan experiences in Dilli 6.

This place is a good option if you are looking for pure veg restaurant nearby. The place has all religious vibes to its atmosphere. The food is nice and tasty, considering quality and quantity. However the staff didn't put face mask, neither I could any sanitizer nor my temperature was checked. There should be some measurement considering the CORONA situation. I hope the management takes it under consideration.
