Kuremal's Kulfiwale - Aurobindo Marg, Haus Khas Market
3/5 - Small sitting space inside resturant, expensive ice cream & small serving size.
We visited on a rainy evening. Kuremal is famous for its fruit based kulfis, stuffed in actual fruit & opened in front of us. There are many flavours to choose from, like Mango, pomegranate, guava etc.(have attached pic). Though in my opinion, milk based are better than sorbet based, if u wanna eat flavoured kulfis from here. Apart from there being no place to sit, the outlet is quite small, serving only as a take-away point. It's like if 4 people stand in, it feels crowded.
For sitting purposes, they've only kept 4 stools, as shown in pic, that too, of a low height. The table is also low-set, so an average tall person has to bend down & eat.
Apart from the uncomfortable sitting position, what i found bad was also the staff behaviour. I was packing an order of 3, and i asked the reception guy to put in extra tissues & spoons, but he had an issue with this. He did put it, but after one of those stares.
I mean, u guys know how expensive ur stuff is, right? It's a handful of ice cream for Rs 100.
So, sitting is bad, service is lacking. This outlet isn't the best place to experience the Kuremal experience.
Would suggest another outlet, for a...

Reviewers rave about this rich, delicious, and one-of-a-kind experience. Many customers appreciate that the kulfis are made with real, fresh fruit pulp rather than artificial flavorings. Haven't seen this anywhere else. It's expensive than the normal kulfi but an entirely new taste. Has an option of 4-5 different flavours. The pomegranate...
Read moreSince 1906, the original Kulfi Mohanlal Kulfi Wale has been a wildly popular ice cream. While this ice cream parlour is on my to-do list, I have yet to visit. However, numerous franchise outlets have emerged in Delhi NCR as of late, and I visited those in Kamla Nagar and Hauz khas. I was quite fond of their ice cream. Their distinctive fruit ice cream recipe and flavour will entice you to return repeatedly. The flavour is natural and authentic. You will have the sensation of consuming the fruit icecream which is unadulterated by preservatives. I attempted their fruit frozen ice cream. I have yet to sample the Malai and fruit stuff icecream, but I intend to do so the following time around. A modest amount more expensive, but well worth it for the experience and...
