Sardar-Ji-Bakhsh Coffee & Co have opened many outlets in the city of New Delhi and this cafe is one of the favorite destinations for coffee lovers. I visited the one in Hauz Khas which is a very small cafe in terms of size, but it felt warm and cozy. We had the following while we were at Sarda-Ji-Baksh Coffee & Co.
Mocha is one of the types of Frappes available here and this thick based cold coffee was delightful indeed. The blend was spot on and it had the right amount of milk as well.
Coco Chip was the other Frappe that we decided to have and we were quite satisfied with this cold coffee as well. Nothing out of the blue, just your regular chocolate chip cold coffee.
Bun Omelette was a straightforward dish with a well done omelette between the buns. The omelette was not that spicy as well, and the buns were buttered as well to give a nice taste to the dish.
Peri Peri fries were crunchy and tasty. The peri peri masala was unique and had a nice zest flavor to it. The fries were well cooked as well.
Pangebaaz has the title of being the spiciest burger in town. This burger has a chicken patty, with some lettuce, tomatoes, onion, ketchup, mayo, and the famous bhut jholokia sauce. Honestly, I did not find it spicy at all, there were very few instances where you could taste the bhut jholokia sauce, so all the hype was for nothing.
Finding a parking spot will be difficult for this particular outlet, so be prepared to walk a little. The service here is quick, there are barely two people taking care of the outlet, not sure how they can handle the crowd if it is packed. Had a great time though, you can find them at Surya Mansion, 1, Chaudhary Dilip Singh Marg, Kaushalya Park, Padmini Enclave, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, Delhi 110016.

Β Β Β Read moreFinding this outlet wasn't tough at all as Google Maps guided us directly here. Finding parking might be an issue as there are no parking spots outside the coffee shops. However, you can park your vehicle on the opposite side of the road by the side or at the designated parking spot and then walk half a minute or so to the outlet.
It's a nice, cozy place to be. It might be a tad too small but finding a place to sit wasn't an issue, really. Yes, it can be a little too loud though. That, for me, was a tad disappointing but then again, the management can't be blamed for the patron's loud voices.
The coffee is the ONLY thing I was there for and I wanted to try one of their hot ones. So, I ordered a Cappuccino while Radhika ordered a Latte. Later another friend joined in who ordered a strawberry shake for herself. Well, the Cappuccino had a taste of being burnt. Perhaps, because of the coffee beans, but I don't appreciate this burnt smell and taste in my coffee. I don't take sugar in my coffee at all, so, that burnt taste did bother me a LOT.
The Latte, Radhika said was alright. However, the strawberry shake was very pale to start with. My friend did speak to the servers present there who rectified the shake, which was better the 2nd time. It actually was more milk and almost non-existent strawberry flavour.
I'm not sure whether this was a very specific average experience or this is the case with SardarBuksh in general but I really had high expectations. I did not get to try their food, which many say, is good. I do not speak for others, but when I go visit a coffee shop, all I care for is the coffee and coffee alone and on that front, I came home disappointed. Atleast, what I tried wasn't something I might want to go back for again.
However, if they serve, I'd love to try their Affogato or perhaps even the pour-over...
