“That which is alive hath known death, and that which is dead can never die, for in the Circle of the Spirit life is naught and death is naught. Yea, all things live forever, though at times they sleep and are forgotten.” True by all means, that the aged surely physically leaves but their energies diffuse within our planets and are reincarnated as a new breathing species and time is the utmost archetype of being forgotten in phantom of his nemesis, future. Like each year, this one has also reached to its fullest potential of offering more. And like always, we’ve been busy planning not for a thankful cheerio, (celebrating the lot it offered or feeling remorsed over our guilt full acts or even complaining over its unreasonable hunger to take away from us), but a stellar ingress of 2018. I’ll use this opportunity to remind you one of the excellent nights of 2017, when on the 3rd floor & terrace of Ansal Plaza an exquisite cookhouse and bar, limitless was launched. Displaying excellence with a “all day bar” and novel modern indian concocts, it culminates in modern cooking techniques with international elements. The minimalist diversity of the menu, is intentional as Limitless wants to keep your taste buds jumpy with every changing season. Being one of the luckiest ones, i tasted the first ever. Concerned for my vegan friends i started with crunchy moong dal blinis on a bed of roti sprayed with balsamic vinegar and mouth melting achari kathal galouti resting on crispy sheermal. My carnivorous after a while jumped on the subtle and poetic lamb kakori’s lined with saffron butter on hot dogs and stingy mustard marinated bengali fish croquettes. Swaying from left to right with icy breeze of December, my mains walked the grassy ramp towards me. Straight from the thrones of awadh came the indian slow cooked mutton stew on the bone marrow with paris mash & petals, spicy masala shrimps in tomato onion concoct with rumali roti’s and vegetable pulao with bell peppers, achaari dal stock and fryums. Limitless represents desires, possibilities, opportunities and dreams without burning a hole...
Read moreLimitless Cookhouse-A rooftop bar and lounge with a very beautiful ambience, delicious food, amazing live music performances- What more do you need. The atmosphere is enticing, and there's a hint of romance in the air and perfect for a winter lunch or dinner. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. We had our meal on the rooftop-happily soaking in the sun and enjoying the Limitless's delicacies with peppy foot tapping music. The menu ranges from Soups, Salads to kebabs, Dimsums, Pizzas, Desserts etc. Special mention for the food styling and presentation which was impeccable. My top vegetarian recommendations are- Duo mushroom & truffle bruschetta- If you love mushrooms, this is worth a try. Papad dahi kebab- melt-in-mouth kebabs coated with papad crumbs. The green chutney served with this appetizer was so good and fresh. Vegetable seekh kebabs- another delicious appetizer which was cooked to perfection Penne arrabiata- the pasta looked delectable and indeed it was so yummy. It was tangy and spicy, just the way I wanted. Exotic veggie Pizza – it was a thin crust pizza which was perfectly baked. The toppings of veggies were generous. The pizza looked so colorful and it was indeed a visual treat to my eyes. Every bite of this pizza was heavenly. Dal makhani – creamy and delicious dal makhni which paired perfectly with pudina parantha. Dum aloo handi biryani- aromatic and flavorful biryani which was served with raita and papad.
In a nutshell, Limitless is the perfect place to go both with friends and family. You will enjoy a stroll around the beautiful ambiance as well as the lip smacking meals. Special mention for great staff and hospitality. Follow my food journey on instagram-...
Read moreWith winters a rooftop bar becomes the ultimate hangout zone and that's the reason we headed to Limitless located at Ansal Plaza. We chose to have lunch owing to the night curfew and had a great time soaking the sun in the chilly weather with yummy food, dips and spices. We started with Non-veg platter which was irresistible with Mutton Seekh, Fish tikka, Methi Murgh, Chicken tikka, hummus Mint sauce and Pita bread...absolutely delicious. Music and the ambience made our experience even more delightful.
Veg Dimsums came with a generous stuffing of paneer which was mind blowing and so was the dip which accompanied the starter. Chicken Money Bags are something that you can't miss. Made in the shape of a money bag, crisp on the outside with soft and oozing chicken inside- so appetizing and flavorsome. Veg Poppers came swinging in its glory and had an amazing taste. Chilli Chicken Tikka were yummy too. Double Decker pizza was quite interesting- it was a layered pizza with cheese in the middle among with toppings and fries... absolutely mouth-watering and delectable. Alfredo Chicken Pasta would be a must try recommendation too.
Time for main course and we tried Butter chicken, Dal Makhni, Butter Naan, Laccha Paratha....even though we were almost full after the starters, the main course was so yumm that we actually had a lot of it.
It was time for Chocolate Dom which got bursted with hot liquid chocolate right in front of our eyes. Such a beautiful and delicious chocolate experience and we also had a Chocolate Cake to end the heavenly meal.
