3rd class service, waiter served wrong order thrice.
Being there with with family, first of all waiter took 15 minutes to come and take the order and we got the starter after waiting almost 45 minutes and that too wrong order. We ordered for mutton seekh kabab along with other started and instead we got chicken Sikh kabab.
While having starters we asked him to take order for main course and he simply ignored us and we kept waiting for another 15 minutes after having starters to order for main coursewe ordered for mutton keema And after 10 minutes waiter came back and said mutton dishes not available as stock over that too around 9 pm only and asked us to order something in chicken. We ordered chicken tawa full and almost after another 30 minutes got the meal on table.. and gues what we received "BUTTER CHICKEN".. we asked the waited we ordered for Chicken Tawa.. he said it's ok this is also equally good. U have this or u will have to wait for another 15 minutes.
As we were more interested in chicken tawa we asked him to get chicken t only. He took the dishe back and meanwhile i went to counter to complain and check if there is any issue in understanding.. as we wasted 2 hrs and still waiting to have dinner. And almost again waiting for another 15 minutes waiter said they do not have chicken ready for tawa chicken and can serve us boneless.
We got up and told them we don't want to eat dinner give us billl for whatever we had in snacks. And meanwhile owner came and said ma'am food is almost ready u have it. And gues what we got same button chicken with more added masala and tried making us fool as this is tawa chicken .
And after such a bad experience i recieved full bill of 2860/-
Without even considering any of their fault Or being apologies.
Never recommend this to anyone.. 0 to service and 0 to...
Read moreFirst introduced to this place by a friend since it's near his house. He now gets upset with me because we meet at Manjeet's only since then! On my multiple visits, the one thing that has always remained a constant in the order, is Chicken Shawarma. I had shwarma at many shops on Jail Road after that, but none matched the perfect taste of Manjeet's. Now, one thing that surprised me was the quantity/portions of serving. A 'HALF' of any dish here means it will serve at least 4 people. Considering the usual serving of half at most restaurants, we both were left loosening our belt buckles in a bid to finish that half 'SPECIAL TAWA CHICKEN (With Brain)'. FISH is a seasonal dish here, but during fish season, they can turn you into sharks, with mind blowing FISH CURRY and FISH TIKKA. CHICKEN KALIMIRCH is an amazing delight. The place is right on the main Jail Road, so the approach is perfect. Now, the only BIZARRE thing that has bothered me every time is the demarcation of open and covered eating! They charge you EXTRA if you wish to sit in their covered sitting area. Yeah, the menu offered to you inside is with the same dishes but with INFLATED rates! This is one absurd logic. No restaurant does that. But still, the place is a delight for a regular chicken lover. If not, then surely the best option for having chicken if you are...
Read moreI recently visited Manjeet Restaurant and had a mixed experience. While the food was undoubtedly delicious, I must admit that the service left much to be desired.
Arriving on a busy Sunday evening, it was evident that the restaurant was struggling to accommodate the large influx of customers. Unfortunately, this meant a 20-minute wait before a table became available. I understand that busy times can be challenging, but it would have been better if the restaurant had anticipated the high footfall and made necessary arrangements in advance.
Once seated, the next hurdle was the delay in serving the dishes. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed and it took an excessive amount of time for our orders to arrive at the table. This was a bit disappointing as it affected the overall dining experience.
That being said, the redeeming factor of Manjeet Restaurant was the quality of their food. Each dish was prepared with care and attention, bursting with flavors that delighted the taste buds. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the flavors were authentic and satisfying.
In conclusion, while the food at Manjeet Restaurant was commendable, the service aspect fell short of expectations. Improvements in managing high footfall and enhancing efficiency in serving dishes would greatly enhance the...
