While the atmosphere at Nostalgia Blues leaves one feeling a little put off, the food, the drinks and the prices make up for it.
This place is great for a really casual outing with friends. Can definitely recommend their masala peanuts - its really masaledar without being over the top. And that goes really well with almost all beers. Also their crispy veg. was very nice.
Would definitely ask management to either improve their sound system, or to keep the volume at a lower level - the ears start jarring after a while. We asked them to lower the volume thrice - they did comply with our request, but we kept finding that the volume kept going back to the earlier level. Also, on another day, we waited for about half an hour and then had to go and ask the manager to serve us. Despite that, I did return to the place again - take it how you will.

Read moreI visited Nostalgia Blues last weekend, anticipating a pleasant environment for my team. Unfortunately, the establishment fell short, exhibiting a lackluster atmosphere and subpar service. Despite a two-hour wait, we had to proactively approach staff to place our drink orders, only to discover a limited selection lacking basic options like Red/White/Sparkling wine, Bloody Mary, or Baileys Irish Cream. The promised DJ failed to materialize as scheduled at 8pm earlier to 9pm, and then eventually no show even at 10pm, reflecting a lack of professionalism and honesty.
Moreover, there was an imposition of a 10% service charge, seemingly disproportionate to the poor service received. This experience, particularly during the festive Xmas/New Year weekend, raises concerns about the establishment's care to customers, service efficiency, and overall ambience.
I do not recommend this venue due to the ungracious staff, sluggish service, and...
Read moreI wish people had given their genuine reviews abt this place, this restaurant doesnt deserve 4.5 star rating, we had horrible experience there, we went there after reading all the great reviews but the reality of the place was totally unexpected. We gave order of chilli chicken and peri peri fries and two mocktails strawberry crust & watermelon lemonade. They served us extreme sweet drinks (not edible dtinks) and burnt chilli chicken. Peri peri fries were served after 40 mins as one of the waiter cancelled it himself without asking us, also the fries din hv peri peri masala but it was loaded with red chilli powder. The restaurant owner needs to change the chef and train the staff. Extremely...
