A Memorable Evening at Elation, GK1

Last weekend, I found myself wandering through the vibrant lanes of M Block Market in Greater Kailash 1 (GK1), New Delhi. With the evening still young and a mood to unwind, I decided to step into Elation, a progressive lounge and bar that’s quickly becoming the new favorite in Delhi’s nightlife scene. From the moment I walked in, I had a good feeling about the place. It struck me as the ideal spot for anyone who appreciates vibrant vibes, delectable food, and expertly crafted cocktails!

Plush Ambience & Alfresco Magic

Elation exudes charm. The plush interiors welcomed me, and the option of indoor and alfresco dining was perfect—whether you're in the mood for cozying up inside or enjoying the evening breeze. With soft, ambient lighting and elegant decor, the vibe felt like a smooth blend of sophistication and relaxation.

Adding to the magic, live singing performances happen every alternate day, and although I missed the live music this time, the in-house DJ was spinning some fantastic tracks that kept the energy high throughout the evening.

Spellbinding Drinks & Appetizers

I started the night with two of their signature cocktails—a Whisky Sour and a delightful concoction called Tikki-Day. The latter was an absolute winner! Made with Gold Rum, Dark Rum, Passion Fruit, Vanilla Syrup, and Pineapple Juice, it was a tropical explosion in every sip. Both drinks were perfectly balanced, showcasing the creativity of Elation’s mixologists.

For appetizers, I indulged in the Dahi Ke Kebab, a crowd favorite for good reason. It was rich, creamy, and melted in my mouth. The Classic Chicken Gyoza was equally delightful, with juicy chicken filling wrapped in perfectly steamed dumplings—simple yet flavorful.

Mains That Impressed

The mains elevated the evening even further. I went for a mix of Chicken Changezi and Dal Makhni. The Chicken Changezi was aromatic, with tender pieces of chicken simmered in a mildly spiced gravy. It paired beautifully with the naan and had just the right hint of smokiness. The Dal Makhni, creamy and comforting, rounded off the meal perfectly, satisfying every craving for classic North Indian flavors.

Service That Stands Out

The staff at Elation were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They ensured the food arrived promptly and checked in regularly to see if everything was to my liking—a gesture I always appreciate.

Final Thoughts

Between the premium range of Shisha, great cocktails, and upbeat vibe, Elation offers a well-rounded lounge experience. Whether you’re looking to catch up with friends over drinks or enjoy a leisurely dinner with some music, this place has it all. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed, with every intention of coming back soon.

The cafe has been always on my check list as it's not only good for food but it's rather good for its services and hospitality so let's discuss more about as the food and services were 5/5 as expected Brownie fudge shake Purani dilli ki chaat Chicken popcorn Keema paw mutton Dal makhani Blueberry waffle Brownie fudge shake was thick and brownie was completely mashed and grinded with perfect quantity of chocolate flavours Purani dilli ki chaat was very delightful as the registered Trademarks of street food of old Delhi is archived and presented Chicken popcorn I guess this would be there signature dish but unfortunately this was the dish listed on basic ones I assumed it to be signature as one punch of ball gives you the flavour and taste of chicken stuffs cheese and herbs mix overall beautifully and pamperly served Keema paw chicken was served in fondu style which kept it refresh for a longer period of time the pav were puffy and fried ,Keema made it more mouthwatering Dal makhani was buttery and I felt like homemade the taste was very good and I think they should rename it to Ghar ki daal Blueberry waffle deployed the aroma from a distance when it reached we pinched a taste and ruled it all I didn't even let my bestie to touch it .The taste was very genuine and the reason is everything is in-house design and preparation . Visited this marvelous place in Greater Kailash having wonderful ambience, beautiful interior, eye-catchy one liners and ample seating as well. We preferred sitting outdoor. The music was bang on too. The staff was really kind and the services were quick. Food was really delicious and hands down to the presentation. So we ordered the following: In Drinks we ordered Virgin mojito, Sangria with white wine and Pacific blue. Refreshing drinks with beautiful presentation as well. In Starters we ordered Golden fried prawns, Crispy chilli fish, keema pav, Jalapeno cheese poppers, Mutton gaulati kebab, Backyard pizza and Tandoori chicken momos. I was stunned how amazing sea food tasted here. Chilli fish and prawns were way too amazing. Gaulati kebab were little too spicy. Momos were really amazing with dips. Stardish of the menu was KEEMA PAV. Not only it was beautifully presented but what a taste. I would highly highly recommend this dish to order. In Main course we ordered Chicken khurana and handi mutton with Garlic naan and butter naan. Mutton was top notch amazing and cooked to perfection. Chicken was soft and flavorful and less spicy. Lastly in Dessert we ordered Nutella waffle with vanilla ice cream. Loved the crunchy base and nutella is love.

Overall had a super amazing experience here and I’m definitely coming here again...
