Oven Story — Restaurant in Delhi

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS OUTLET! or even ovenstory. I ordered from swiggy as the delivery time was short and because it was independence day, so I thought ordering from somewhere nearby would be better. The delivery time was only 25 minutes, but 1 hour went by and no delivery. Turns out the delivery partners are of ovenstory only and not from swiggy. I called the delivery number, the person told me that it's out for delivery. He was supposed to deliver but told that he had some emergency and had to go to the railway station. Fair enough.

15 more minutes passed and the delivery person was only 5 minutes away, I got my hopes up. But suddenly the app showed that my order was delivered! I was shocked. I then called the delivery guy, he said that the app mistakenly showed delivered by itself and the roads are blocked at mandi house and he will take the order back to the restaurant. I got angry at him because I was waiting for my order for 1.5 hours told him that he should deliver as it has already taken so long. I told him to try other routes to come here, but he refused. Tried calling him multiple times but he did not pick up. Thankfully, I raised the issue on swiggy and got the refund.

The outlet should not have accepted the order if there were no delivery person available. This is highly unprofessional. The delivery person might have a genuine reason but I checked google maps and the routes were showing. Maybe I am wrong and the routes were...

I ordered from Oven Story, Minto Road, and the whole experience was very disappointing. Firstly, the delivery itself took almost an hour, which is far too long for a simple order. By the time the food arrived, the keema in the burger was cold and completely unappetizing. A hot filling is the minimum expectation, but this felt stale and carelessly prepared.

To add to the frustration, the cold drink that came with the meal wasn’t cold at all — it was served warm. After waiting so long, receiving such poorly handled food and beverage was honestly a letdown.

Oven Story is supposed to be a reputed brand, but the Minto Road outlet failed badly in both service and quality. I hope they take feedback seriously, because customers shouldn’t have to wait endlessly only to get cold food and warm...

NOTE- THEY ONLY DELIVER from APPS like Zomato, swiggy. No DINE IN available here. We came for dine in but didn't get the place. So, please don't come here for dine-in.
