Read more#unbiasedreview I visited this place for the first time today and here I share my Eexpierence at ground floor the entry there was a waiting for around 20 minutes or so for 3 people so take time and plan accordingly then if we enter at ground floor there are dishes in big nowls or patilas from there only we will get service by of the waiter for the dish to our tables on ground though ac was there centralized only 2-3 table chair sets were there, it was heating in the ground floor due there is a wash basin for hand-wash right beside the steps if we go upstairs there is effective Cooling of air conditioner and we get our table a menu is pasted on the wall side of the table you get allotted with also two big size menus at the wall on both ground and first floor we can read by entering either floor. There is also paper printed menu on the bill counter itself along with mouth freshener if anyone wants to take it home. Coming to food first things first prices are very very very low even cheaper than a roadside dhaba for the quality fame name sitting it's location it offers which was a big surprise for me we ordered 3 butter nans which were decent enough is size and softness, 2 butter rotis which were fluffy soft and good, chicken curry which was decent, saag meat which was also decent in taste which had little bit of saag taste in it as portrait by youtubers they are correct here for saag meat both meat and chicken were extremely soft and dal makhni which was best among all the food we ordered was thick but fukl of cream cream and cream it had kidney beans all the necessary elements it and good in taste the original taste of dal was there when it comes to drink we get packaged drinking water on the table with mrp of 20 rs and got charged only 17 rs and 3 Pepsi bottles which had mrp of around 18 rs they charged only 14.5 rs for each so a little discount in drinks it was for all the discount on beverages. The food was very homely and very light to digest. Spices and salt in dishes were on point and same goes for the temperature of the pepsi accurate by default this represents their Expierence in this industry. So overall a good place to be in with positive. You can once try to visit this place if you wish hopefully you will be happy and satisfied. Thanks...
Read moreWent to this iconic eatery in Connaught place on a Saturday night. Well the wait time was around 50+ minutes, there was alot of rush in the night but people were patiently waiting for their turn (something uncommon in Delhi ;) ). Finally our turn came and we ordered our food but before that, on the aspects of cleanliness the place is not kept well. We got seat at the entrance only, so it was extremely hot and with minimum ventilation. So with one hand we were eating and with the other hand wiping our faces. There is an option of taking seat upstairs but because of heavy rush and long waiting time we couldn't get that. Coming to what we had ordered: Dahi Mutton (4.5/5): The pieces were cooked properly and gravy was very tasty. The masala and spices were sauted properly so thag further enhanced the taste, it tasted great with nan and rice. Chicken Curry (2.5/5): We were really disappointed with this dish, though Chicken was tender but taste was not upto mark, you can get better Chicken curry in other outlets across Delhi. It was very normal types, i would recommend mutton over this dish anyday Dal Makhani (3.5/5): The dal was cooked properly and tasted a bit on the sweet side, they added alot of ghee and butter in it due to which i felt it subdued the original taste. Shahi Paneer (2/5): Out of the 4 dishes we ordered this was the least upto the mark. They had added to much cream and tomato to it, i have eaten Shahi paneer at so many places but this is the worst one till now. The paneer pieces tasted bland as masala was not marinated / mixed in it. We ordered extra mutton gravy alongwith the rice and they didn't charge anything for that, the service is very fast as all the dishes are already prepared and kept in huge containers. Overall its a 3.5 from my side, in case you visit this place over a weekend have a buffer of...
