Sheikh Chang Singh — Restaurant in Delhi

Today has been a celebratory day for me for two reasons: it marks my 3-year work-aversary and the Bengal Poll results for 2021 came out!!! To celebrate these two wins, I ordered in from Sheikh Chang Singh, which has an intriguing name and a lovely menu with a lot of variety. I ordered the following and they all had great taste, great portion size and great quality in common and all were packed properly : ~ Mutton Kurkure Momos: Super Crispy from the outside, very juicy from the inside, wonderful flavours and taste, loved the momos! 6 pieces per plate and came with 3 kinds of spicy dips. ~ Double Chicken Egg Malai Tikka Roll: Huge roll, so huge that it took 2 people to finish this! The chicken was succulent, the roll was dripping malai and was so yummy to taste! Came with hari chutney and I'd ordered the Tandoori Mayo along with it too. Loved everything about this roll and recommend it to one and all! ~ Chicken Biryani: I ordered the least spice level and enjoyed it. The Biryani came in a handi with a heating stand. Service is pathetic , kept honking for someone to come to take my order no one came .

And that too being at the front of the store.

Post that I had to go and order it by myself , even when they have a staff for it .

And this is not the first time I have came here , I have loved their food from years and come here every now and then.

But I don’t know what has changed , came here after 5 months today , the service staff if not at all responsive or responsible.

Post this once I got my meal , they forgot the beverage , I kept waiting for it .

Once I was done with the meal , I again kept honking so that some could come and take my food tray they give with the meal .

Again , no one came .

I had to take to the counter and give it to them , post this I have to ask for my forgotten beverage .

And this when there is no rush .

It’s a request to the owners , pls keep a look at your staff or get a better manager.

Didnt got the bill as well , otherwise would have attached it .

As one is not moving out these days due to the pandemic,it's always a good option to have food home delivered especially on the weekends when one wants to eat a bit from outside. Good food delivery places make it easier . Ordered food from Sheikh Chang Singh . Food was delivered in time . The packaging was on point and was such that you really didn't need any extra plates to use from the kitchen . The Mushroom and Spinach momos had thin covering,almost like a dimsum. On the spicier side buy yum . Came along with two dips/sauces. The Dubai felafel roll had a generous portion of felafel in the wrap and came along with pickles and hummus . The Veg Biryani had a raita ,mint chutney and onions as accompaniments and was served in a clay pot that came along with its biryani warmer so one could kerp the biryani warm.
