Spice Aangan — Restaurant in Delhi

One of the best experience of taste i have ever had within the region of delhi. Spice aangan does not only serve good food courses but as well the ambiance is very nice. i went there one evening. and there were outdoor sitting, a whole lot of lights flickering all over the place, LED showing IPL. and music was loud and perfect. so one of the best thing it is famous for, thats shawarma, i had paneer shawarma and chicken shawarma and both were so delicious. the best thing was that they making most of the things by themselves like mayonnaise and every different types of curry and chutney. they were doing themselves rogan josh was basically not bad. it was a little oily but thats the point of its existence. the rates are not much when compared to taste. we also had kadhai paneer and naan which was also very good overall it was hard for us to point out the negative because it did...

Being a part of the IIT Delhi community, SDA market often happens to be our hangout place. In search of affordable Indian cuisine, we go to Spice Aangan .

Ambience: 3/5

With its take-a-away type service delivery, there is very little to talk about its ambience. Nevertheless, if you like to have your food in an open air park, while enjoying and reflecting on the hustle and bustle of the SDA market, you will surely enjoy your time.

We generally have Quarter Chicken Curry, which will not disappoint you both in terms of taste and quantity (for 1).

Other snacks that are worth trying are Chicken/Mutton Seekh roll and the Shawarmas.

In Veg, we have tried only Kadhai Paneer, which I found to be a tad spicy.

Spice Aangan is prominently located in Safdarjung Development Area (SDA) Market just opposite Indian Institute of Technology. It is known for both its vegetarian and known vegetarian dishes. Try Paneer Shawarma, you will not be disappointed. Its other specialities are Indian Veg Curry, Biryani and Rice, Fried Rice and curry and host of other items. Even though quality of food sold here is good and service fast, but rates are on the higher side. Paneer Shawarma cost Rs. 190/- and a Roti at Rs. 25 and Naan, Rs. 30/-. If you are located within 5 km, it can be delivered at your home provided that total order is of Rs. 500/-. Within three km, order must be of minimum Rs. 300/-....
