The Shawarma Junction — Restaurant in Delhi

Shawarma junction is one of the quick bite street food joints here on the jail road and near to the Tilak Nagar metro station

Things I tried :-

Crunchy chicken kebabs!

The kebabs with a crisp factor 😌👌 Covered in crispies, the outer shell is surprisingly light and when you bite into it you get a flavour of the juicy chicken kebabs 🙃 served with a home made mayo and a red chilli seed sauce ( really spicy ) these Kurkure chicken seekh kebabs are Delish 👌👌

Kurkure shawarma :- Decked in crispies over the roll filled with minced chicken filling, it was something that i found to be nice but would still would prefer the original shawarmas over them

However the tandoori mayonnaise with it was really something I liked.

Finally the last dish we tried here were the Kurkure chicken momos which I didn't really enjoy. There wasn't an adequate amount of filling and the I felt like I was just having a shell of crispies with a little chicken filling in it.

Again hygiene is an issue here! And the surroundings are not clean

But I would still say that this place is a good street food joint to have some quick bites.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at The Shawarma Junction on Jail Road, and I feel it is my duty to warn others about the issues I encountered. While the idea of a good shawarma is always appealing, the reality of the food served here was deeply disappointing, primarily due to its questionable hygiene and untidy presentation. From the moment my order arrived, it was clear that the food had been prepared with a shocking lack of care. The shawarma was a messy, unappetizing pile of ingredients that looked like it had been haphazardly thrown together. The fillings were spilling out, and the overall appearance was far from what one would expect from a professional food establishment. Even more concerning than the untidy presentation was the apparent lack of hygiene. The ingredients, particularly the chicken, tasted stale and had a strange, greasy texture. We had ordered special gravy chicken momos,creamy chicken lollipop and chicken shawarma. Starting with the area the place is bit compact so if you're lucky then you might get a seat otherwise stand and eat is the routine. Now coming back to food.Chicken shawarma was pretty good.The spices were right and taste was optimum. Creamy Chicken lollipop was not upto the mark as the cream made it taste bit weird.Maybe it was the fried chicken or the complimentary cream but this lollipop was real thumb's down for me.
