I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Bikanerwala Sweet Shop situated at sector 12, Dwarka, and I must say it was an absolute delight for my taste buds. Known for its rich heritage and authentic flavors, Bikanerwala truly lives up to its reputation as a premier destination for Indian sweets.
From the moment I stepped into the shop, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The display counters were adorned with an array of colorful sweets, tempting me with their exquisite appearance. The staff members were attentive and friendly, providing prompt service and helpful recommendations.
The variety of sweets offered at Bikanerwala is truly impressive. They have an extensive selection of traditional Indian sweets, including mouth-watering gulab jamuns, laddoos, pedas, and barfis. Each sweet is made with precision and care, using high-quality ingredients that enhance the authentic flavors. The taste was simply heavenly; the sweets were perfectly balanced in sweetness and had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that left me craving for more.
What impressed me the most about Bikanerwala was their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality. The sweets are prepared in a hygienic environment, and the shop itself is clean and well-maintained. It gave me peace of mind knowing that I was indulging in sweets that were not only delicious but also prepared with utmost care.
Apart from their wide range of sweets, Bikanerwala also offers savory snacks and chaat items. The samosas and kachoris were crispy and flavorful, and the chaat had the perfect blend of tanginess and spiciness. It's a great place to satisfy your cravings for both sweet and savory delights.
In conclusion, Bikanerwala Sweet Shop is a must-visit for all the sweet lovers out there. The ambiance of this place is truly delightful, with warm and inviting lighting. As for the food, it is consistently good. I have visited this outlet multiple times and during Navratri, I had the pleasure of trying their Navratri special, which was delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice.
During my last visit, I had lunch here and ordered the Pudina Parantha, Lachcha Parantha, and Onion Kulcha. Let me assure you, they were really enjoyable. While I wouldn't claim they were the absolute best I've ever had, they were certainly delicious. I also tried their Dal Makhani, which was exceptionally tasty. The creaminess and thickness of the dish were perfectly balanced.
Personally, I love visiting Bikanerwala, and I'm sure you will too. Check out the nearest outlet to see if it meets your expectations. In Delhi, I have two favorite branches so far, one being this one and the other being the one in Rajouri, located right beside the metro station.
The service at this outlet is also satisfactory. You place your order for food and snacks, and they bring it...
Read moreBikanerwala, Sec 12 Dwarka is a decent place. I went to get Jalebis, which weren't available. The pedas were also dry so ddnt purchase. We ordered for 1 raj kachori, 1 jalebi 200 gms, 1 dahi bhalla, 2 packs of pani poori for home delivery through zomato. The raj kachori was nice but missing on the sprouts, dahi nd potato fillings so you tend to not enjoy the way you would at the restaurant. Golgappas were well-packed but 2 broken inside the pack. Plus, they forgot to add the potato chickpeas mixture filling for the golgappas. What's the point of having golgappe without the filling? Thankfully we had a boiled potato available at that time :) dahi bhalla was ok. Jalebi was nice. So home delivery while is convenient, the packing tends to miss out on so many things. Complaining that time makes it all the more tedious. Had breadpakoda nd kachodi. Kachodi was Khasta but filling was less. Breadpakoda was average. Tried their cream roll and rainbow pastry today but it was very average. You can avoid it from here. Tried paneer pakoda but it was not fried properly. Had coffee and that was ok., I am a blogger available on instagram as @the_food_date....
