Nirvana South Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Dwarka

Hello - I bought lots of item (Dosa, Sambhar Vada, Utthpam) from here on 1st May 2022 afternoon (around 1-4 window it seems), after looking around for various South Indian food options. I made it a point to write review about this shop (despite I am writing this from different country), though I remain quite busy for these things and have no interest in this. Anyway was quite pathetic and sub standard food (1) It appeared all dishes were cooked using multiple times used oil (rather multiple days old), using stale ingredients (2) None of food was smelling nice/aromatic (3) Sambhars, Chutneys was tasteless, bland (3) Again Vada was sour/bitter and smelly, because of overused oil cooking. I had travelled that night and I was so lucky that I did not catch any food poisoning, though my parents felt food poisoning issues. In summary, if chef does not know how to cook good regional cuisine, that's fine but dont compromise on quality to that extent that it can cause health...

Looking at the reviews, I went with my family to have some veg south Indian delicacies. The Google rating was just awesome. Staff and owner behaviour was outstanding and hence the 2 rating for it.

Talking about food, we ordered masala Dosa and Malabar parotha with veg korma. In masala Dosa, only masala and sambar was looking fresh and hot, all other things like Dosa itself, both the chutneys were totally cold and not tasty. Dosa was not at all crisp. Veg korma was very okish. The rates were not much but not anyway cheap. I would recommend Haldirams which is next to this shop, the rates are only 5-10% more and taste and quality atleast 80% more than this restaurant. The owner courteously asked for the feedback and offered a free gulab jamun in return but after our food we were not interested in the freebie :) but here's the feedback,...

In my life never had such a horrible Chicken Chettinad. It was pure waste of money. The owner was informed but there was no courtesy to even apologies for serving such a third class tasteless food and to return the money spent.

Leave aside it being a Keralite dish it was not even palatable chicken curry. In such a repute mall (City Centre Mall Sector-12). Your restaurant is spolling name & fame of other restaurants . Such a pathetic food which was just a boiled chicken mixed with turmeric & salt & pepper. In a thin water curry which I can make it out at a very first look. But took a chance that looks may be deceptive but it may be tasty. Shall advise all 400 members of my society at Dwarka not to try this restaurant and spoil your mood...
