Order Date : 17 Sep, 2022 (4:30 PM) Ordered Prepared & Handed Over: 6 PM (Against the promised time of 5:30 PM) Item Under Review: Veg Hakka Noodles (7 Portion with instruction of Kids preparation) Food Serving Time : 6:45~7:00 PM
As soon as the noodles are served to the kids after transferring from original packing, it started smelling rotten. All 7 boxes were checked and all of them were having very strong foul/rotten smell . Considering this food was ordered for Kids and in order to avoid any food infection, all the food was thrown right away with Kept small portion aside which was taken to restaurant at 12:30 AM (after finishing the event). Met with some manage there (could not take the name under this chaos) and showed him the noodles including few other employees. They all smelled it and agreed the food is rotten and can’t be eaten it is not eatable. The main manager try to check with the chef who by that time has already left the restaurant. The manager took the contact number and promised to call back next day after talking to the Chef Manager was surprised to smell the food and agreed it should not have been sent since it is non-eatable and rotten.
Dated : 18th Sep, 2022 (Next day of complain)
No call received from Restaurant side and finally after waiting whole day decided to call them.
Called the manager at around 5:45 PM to get the feedback on the above food complain.
To my surprised, the manager changed his stance completely.
He was not ready to accept it is a rotten food, instead saying he is neither obliged to call back on food complain nor the food under complain is rotten.
He is not ready to acknowledge the discussion happened a day before and said multiple time, he never accepted it is non eatable. There were 3-4 employees during the time of complaint and they all check the food, smelled it and did agreed it is rotten (including the manager) But the very next day, the manager is not ready to take the ownership of the mistake (which he did accepted one day before). Seems like this so-called restaurant do not care about the people health and safety even though they are kids.
My experience has two learnings for me
In the heart of a city that prides itself on culinary delights, there exists a dining establishment so vile, it's as if it were conjured from the depths of a culinary nightmare. Welcome, or rather, beware of the dining debacle that is "Café After Hours," a place where extravagance meets the extortionate in the most distasteful manner imaginable.
Upon your arrival, a troupe of unsettling characters besieges you, their tactics reminiscent of the aggressive hawking found in the most chaotic of marketplaces. These individuals, with their peculiar demeanor, don't just invite but physically haul you into their lair, setting the stage for an experience that spirals into the absurd.
The exterior seating, festooned with stains and tatters, speaks volumes of the establishment's neglect for hygiene and aesthetics. Should you dare point out the squalid conditions, the staff, in a display of unmatched ineptitude, simply flips the chair over, as if this sleight of hand miraculously cleanses the filth.
Once seated, don't hold your breath for any semblance of hospitality. The concept of specials or offers is alien here. Instead, the staff eagerly anticipates the moment you're trapped in their clutches, ready to spring their trap. With a pushiness that borders on coercion, they encourage—nay, insist—that you purchase an entire bottle rather than a solitary drink, preying on the unsuspecting and the thirsty alike.
As for the culinary "delights," prepare for mediocrity masquerading as cuisine. The dishes, drowning in sodium, strive to mask their lackluster essence under the guise of flavor. Yet, this culinary misadventure pales in comparison to the grand finale—the bill. Prepare to be flabbergasted as a simple order of two starters, a salad, and a bottle of (Old Monk) the most modestly priced liquor culminates in a bill that could ransom a king's fortune, setting you back a cool ₹13,500.
This establishment isn't just a dining experience; it's a masterclass in daylight robbery, where the proprietors have elevated gouging to an art form. "Café Catastrophe" stands as a monument to the most egregious exploitation in the annals of dining history, boasting of an experience that marries dismal hygiene, atrocious service, and culinary mediocrity in a union that's nothing short of criminal.
So, let this be a warning to all who seek a meal wrapped in the guise of adventure: steer clear of this establishment. In a world brimming with culinary gems, "Café Catastrophe" is a stone best left unturned. These proprietors are not just restaurateurs; they are maestros of a grand scheme, geniuses of the grotesque. Be wise, be wary, and most...
Read moreSo basically this is situated in a food mall kind of a place.
Entire building is used for food outlets... there are two shopping stores but nothing much... there are two floors full of food outlets...which makes the experience much better than going to a crowded food court with a lot of noise..
Coming to the place itself... the place is really great! the seating is very comfortable and the menu has a lot of variety. They have hukkah option too for people who like to take the hukkah...but sadly it was not available on the day we had gone...
There is outdoor seating and also a bar, there was a big screen where you could watch cricket matches...one was playing when we had gone...must be a popular place during cricket seasons...
Coming to the food... we weren't too hungry so we only ordered two starters... I ordered Paneer tikka deghi mirch and my friend ordered Chilly Chicken...We ordered two beverages, one ginger ale and one masala lemonade...
Everything was really tasty...and Ginger ale was delicious...it was actually lovely...staff was polite, service was good and quick... only they took a little extra time to get the cheque but apart from that it was fine...
Place is quiet... that is the best part.. you can sit and chat on a sunday afternoon in a public place with a friend who is visiting after months
Bill for these four items was 1130/- which is quite decent in considering we ordered drinks too otherwise some 500-600 for food is quited decent... had we not ordered the beverages and one extra dish we would have been so full... so all in all I think it was good value for money because these prices are standard everywhere in Delhi NCR...
Cons:
I should say just one that the washroom is slightly far off on the terrace somewhere where i didnt feel like going because it was not inside the premises so I felt probably it was a common washroom of the building... I am slightly unsure regarding this...
Over all I had a...
