Al Pomodoro — Restaurant in Goa

We found this place on Google and decided to visit mainly because it's run & managed by Italians. Where else will you find the pleasure of having Italian food made by Italians themselves. So we decided to ride from Moira to Anjuna only to get some great Italian food.

We ordered for Veg Margherita pizza and I requested them to customise it slightly. They were generous enough to add mushrooms, Garlic and Pimento Olives on it which made the experience amazing. The ingredients are supremely fresh and the crust of the pizza was perfect. It's about 12 inches and good for 2. I ended up polishing almost the whole pizza by myself. Gave 2-3 pieces to my wife.

She called for a Saltimbocca. This was a generous plate filled with 9 pieces of chicken covered with prosciutto. It came along with beet root and salad glazed in balsamic dressing and freshly baked bread. Along with that we called for a limon cello and an iced latte. Everything was top class and the ambience was perfect.

The staff & service was on point and they some great suggestions for all their customers and were very enthusiastic in recommending dishes based on customers liking and preferences.

Italian restaurant ran by italian peps . I've heard food is Italy's religion . And I was fortunate to visit this temple of a place . Food is absolutely priced correctly with the fine quality ingredients been used and ambience you get .

Few detailed pointers to work on : When you enter, after parking theres a slight confusion on where the space is .

The host/owner is just a lovely lady . Though the service staff needs a lil bit of more grooming towards the menu .

Alcohol could be slightly lower . But you know better .

And lastly , you guys are gonna do wonderful , love and energy from my end for your journey , may others be fortunate to have the taste...

Run by couple who is incharge for kitchen and service and aged 63 and 61 this is an inspiring kitchen which serves India’s best Italian food.

Marina and Bill , run this fantastic cozy place at Y in Assagao which is yet another example of if you want something it will happen.
