Amazing Experience at Hotel Fish N Spicy – A Must-Visit in North Goa!
I recently dined at Hotel Fish N Spicy, located near Vagator Beach in North Goa, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the warm hospitality to the delicious food, everything exceeded my expectations.
We started our evening with the Go Goa Gone cocktail, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced—definitely a must-try for cocktail lovers! Our waiter, Viren, was incredibly polite, attentive, and made sure we had a great time.
For food, we ordered Chicken Biryani, Kingfish Fry, Shahi Paneer, and Naan. Every dish was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Kingfish Fry was fresh, crispy, and seasoned beautifully, while the Chicken Biryani was aromatic with just the right amount of spices. The Shahi Paneer was creamy and rich, pairing wonderfully with the soft, buttery naan.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic—relaxed, cozy, and perfect for enjoying a meal after a day at the beach. If you're in North Goa, Hotel Fish N Spicy is a must-visit for great food, excellent service, and a delightful dining experience. Highly...
Read moreVisited this place with my husband on 18th May and had one of the worst dining experiences. He ordered a Fish Thali, assuming it came with Tawa Fry since the menu didn’t mention any options. It was served with Rava Fry, which he doesn’t eat. When we asked if it could be changed, the staff named Rakesh rudely said we should’ve told earlier — though no one bothered to ask us about any preference while taking the order.
Meanwhile, people at the next table complained that the chicken wasn’t fresh, and again Rakesh blamed them for not informing immediately. My husband mentioned that many reviews already talk about stale food here.
What was shocking is the behaviour of the person sitting at the counter (picture attached). He came to our table, raised his voice, and said if my husband doesn’t eat Rava Fry, it’s not his problem — and that he hasn’t invited us to his restaurant.
Highly unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. We paid the bill and left the place.
Would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. There are much better, respectful...
Read moreVisited this restaurant on 18th May and had an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a Fish Thali, assuming it would be served with Tawa Fry since no options were listed in the menu. But it arrived with Rava Fry, which I don’t consume. When I requested if it could be changed, the service boy, Rakesh, rudely replied that I should’ve told him earlier — though no one asked for my preference while taking the order.
Adding to this, guests at the next table complained about stale chicken, and Rakesh again blamed them for not informing immediately. I mentioned that their online reviews already flagged issues about the freshness of food.
To my shock, a person from the counter (picture attached) came over, raised his voice at me for speaking to other guests, and said if I don’t eat Rava Fry it’s my problem — and that he hadn’t invited me to his restaurant.
Such unprofessional, arrogant behaviour from the staff. I settled my bill and left immediately.
Not a place I’d recommend. Plenty of better, courteous restaurants around —...
