During our stay in Palolem, we chanced upon Baa's Kitchen and it turned out to be a hidden gem! For us, it was a home away from home that we kept visiting for all our meals. Their daal dhokali and palak paneer were simply delicious and soul-satisfying. We also had poha and a sandwich, which were both super tasty.
The service at Baa's Kitchen was outstanding! The ambience was well-maintained, clean, well-lit, and had a nice vibe that made it a perfect spot for breakfast, dinner, or both. We even chose to celebrate a birthday there, and the arrangements they provided were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shubham for his recommendations, care, and effort. We are also thankful to Shubham's dad for sharing his mother's delicious food with the world and feeding us such amazing meals.
We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying dining experience with delicious and mouth-watering food. Even if you're not in Palolem but happen to be in the vicinity, this place is...
Read moreMaybe this place is good for vegetarian I don’t know but we went for breakfast and had a simple omelette. It was one of the worst omelettes ever, and so much over priced. We really went seeing the reviews and didn’t expect this. A plate of omelette was whooping 250, which we assumed will come with some sides like vegetables as most of the restaurants in Goa serve. The omelette came with plain 2 slices of toast not even sufficient to fill me half way through. I don’t know for whom these portions are for, kids? We ordered another Oreo milkshake for my kid and the milk was watered down, a whooping 350 rs. I can get a decent cup of cappuccino at a high end cafe. Now the ambience is ok but lots of mosquitoes and the place was not the best in cleanliness. Really disappointing breakfast we had to go back and have another round in my room. If you charge atleast give decent portions. Highly over reviewed place and now i am doubtful about the authenticity of these reviews. Good luck if...
Read moreI recently dined at Baa's Kitchen based on online reviews and I must say, the food quality and taste were excellent—truly finger-licking good. The dishes were simple yet flavorful, giving a comforting, home-cooked feel.
However, I am giving this place 3 stars due to the high pricing. We were a group of four, and our dinner came to a total of ₹4,300. While I was already trying to justify the cost, what really caught me off guard was the charge for a Pepsi can. Expecting to pay the printed price of ₹40, I was surprised to receive a bill charging ₹177 for the same.
In conclusion, while the food is absolutely worth trying, and they take their time to prepare everything fresh (so it’s best to order in advance), do keep in mind that the prices are on the higher side. The ambience is average, but the quality of the food makes it a...
