We were really excited to try Pizza and Pao after seeing their beautiful Instagram posts and hearing about their authentic Italian ingredients. The food looked amazing online, so we were hopeful. We initially went for pizza but decided to try the pasta after noticing they used guanciale instead of the usual bacon that’s used in India.
The sandwich we had with mozzarella and salami was excellent—simple but really fresh and delicious. You can definitely tell their bread products are top quality, so I’m sure their pizza would be good too.
However, the pasta was a major letdown. The guanciale was burnt, and the burnt taste was overwhelming. When we mentioned it, the chef came out and tried to convince us that guanciale is supposed to be a little burnt, but this was way beyond that. We were disappointed, especially since they didn’t even remove the item from the bill.
Overall, I'd recommend sticking to the bread-based items like sandwiches or pizza, as they clearly know how to handle dough. Service could definitely improve as well—this experience was not...
Read moreI recently dined at Pizza pao, an Italian restaurant that impressed me with its authentic cuisine and cozy atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly.
The pizza was the highlight of my meal. The crust was thin and crispy, topped with fresh mozzarella, tangy tomato sauce, and a variety of toppings. The wood-fired taste was fantastic.
The risotto was creamy and rich, with perfectly cooked rice and a wonderful depth of flavor. The arancini were golden and crispy on the outside, with a cheesy and savory filling inside. They were an absolute treat.
The service was excellent, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a great spot for any occasion.
Overall, my experience at Pizza and Pao was delightful. The combination of fantastic food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment makes this Italian restaurant a must-visit. Whether you're in the mood for pizza, risotto, or arancini, Pizza and Pao has something to satisfy every palate. I look forward to returning and trying more of their...

PLACE: good decorations and nice location, open space and not too laud music
SERVICE: kind people but Saturday the service is not very fast, you have to wait pizzas 20/25 minutes, maybe bit more (I asked the bred, never received, but okay)
PIZZA: high level Napoli-pizza (I’m from Napoli), good ingredients. Congrats! I would avoid Parmesan on pizza (at least on Margherita, but okay).
DESSERT: not at the level of pizza :(. Cheesecake too sweet and not the best, and whiteout jam on the top. Tiramisu without mascarpone! But cream (my god!! :(()
PRICES: quite expensive (one Margherita 700rupies). But the quality and ingredients are TOP… you can’t buy a Ferrari and pay it like a Tata :))
CONCLUSION: pizza is one of the best I ate so long. To improve cakes and desserts for sure. Reasonable prices according the...
