Sushi Cafe — Restaurant in Goa

It was my first time of trying out Sushi, we ordered Prawns Sushi which was ok. We also ordered Margarita Pizza and specified to add only two toppings on it. The owner was busy playing cards with his friends and wasn't paying much attention to the customers. He misunderstood the instructions and added one more topping on the pizza. When we raised the concern, he denied that we hadn't asked for the third topping! Overall, very unprofessional and inattentive attitude of the owner. We weren't even served water, we had to ask him specifically to provide us plates to eat. There was no other customer at the restaurant, just a bunch of card players who the owner was busy with. There was only one Nepali cook working at the restaurant, he neither responds when you call him nor pays any attention. Delivery time was super slow for each dish. The first set of bad people we came across in any of our trips in Goa. Please avoid this place if you r concerned about hygiene. The lady plays with her "pet" cats and then cooks with the same hands. Her cat pounced on my toddler and hit her on her finger. That lady threw her tantrums and said: My cats don't hurt anyone. She tried to blame my baby for over-reacting. We were in a state of panic but that lady was just going gaga about her cats. Hygiene was my major concern and also, the cooked food was pathetic. Only those who've not had authentic versions of the items will love the cooking. My kid had nightmares of cats the whole night and I hope n pray no one else goes through the trauma of being attended by these unemotional bunch of people. The best pizza I’ve had in Goa. However, what I really couldn’t have enough of was the butter garlic prawns and the prawn tempura! Fresh yet light and brilliantly textured- just like the potato wedges they served. The owner is very hospitable and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. You know within a dish or two that a lot of thought and meticulous attention to detail has gone into every item on the thoughtfully curated menu.
