While the food is “fine”, The seemingly educated uncle isn’t the most ethical person to deal with. Small gestures make or break clients that’s a general rule to any business, however, this fellow seems to have forgotten that. I asked him for a simple tamarind candy, he said each candy costs Rs2. I believed him n paid rs 10 for 5 candies. A minute later, I read on the wrapper of the candy that MRP is Rs 1. I countered that “ex-army” uncle that he overcharged. Despite being wrong he didn’t apologise but instead started justifying that if he sells on MRP how will he make profit and refused to correct his mistake. He may have made 5rs extra but lost much more. Such petty things are not expected from a business owner and specially not from someone who claims to be ex-army. I am not eating there again.
Edit: I understand that my comment would have hurt you and I do understand why. I was hurt too when an ex-army person behaved this way. I did not expect this. This was not about money, no one becomes rich in 5-10rs. There is a reason why govt. has mandated putting maximum retail price (MRP) on products and this includes sellers profit, selling above it is not right practice and goes against law. I respect my country’s army and those who serve but I do not support such practices even if it is for one rupee. Please help those who need more than us and make sure we always remain on the right side of the...
Read moreWe came here for breakfast but not so happy... And my points are as below
If I am ordering bread omlette why would I want to pay for butter for the bread. Is it not something standard and staff is behaving shocked if I am asking butter. Fine charge me for butter but get it straight no one likes to eat toast without butter so have it in your menu
French toast in not in menu which is ok but may be if someone is requesting it could have been made its not like rocket science
Portion of sambhar is way too less noted we can have more by paying extra but portion you are serving is so small that people will end up asking more. Not a good practise again
One of the owner was too rude to another customer and that shows how you treat the customer and if I am sitting and seeing this it will scare me too. The poor lady she didnot eat and said it is spicy for her... Then why argue with her.. if she finds it spicy you can't still throw your food on her... It is not that she is not paying but this owner in red shirt took it offensive not a good practice again.
Sorry but I won't come here again as Goa is a place to relax and...
Read moreI just went there to take delivery for a naan and one starter but ended up in ordering a total of 4 items. Food is really good. The best part, I wanted to have cauliflower tikka and it's was not there in the menu and they specially made it for me. It's was damn tasty. If you like talking, which I am, then you can talk with uncle till your order arrives. A very good gesture by the owner is that he greets his every guest with a smile, that's appreciable. They have an open glass kitchen and proper hygiene is maintained which is very much needed during these times. You will get food from breakfast to dinner. Being a vegetarian, finding good vegetarian food is pretty hard in Goa, but my search ended here!!! One great thing about the owner is that he is always ready to help people, I saw one person coming to him and he didn't had money, he wanted to have daal. Uncle generously packed daal and provided it to him. Your talks doesn't make you earn respect but your actions does... And he has earned my respect.
Do visit this place to have good food and a great chat (only if you want to)
Kudos to Kasish...
