Read moreWe were returning tired & hungry from the palolem beach after sea kayaking and decided to grab a quick bite at this small sweet place right on the street. We ordered veg sandwiches, cheese Maggie, pineapple juice, ginger masala tea, cold coffee = Rs. 565.
The food & drinks were freshly prepared. I liked the refreshing tea (rich in color & flavour) & sandwiches (finely chopped veggies with the right amount of sauces and heated over the pan for crispiness). The cold coffee was also good, not too sweet or diluted. Juice lovers will have to mention beforehand if they like it with fiber bits or strained.
We chatted with Mr. Arun (manages the place) there who's demeanor was warm & welcoming.
We went back the next day for breakfast ordered tea, poha, masala dosa, pineapple lassi, banana lassi & masala omelette with toast = Rs. 585
Poha was good (not sweet, squeeze lemon as per your taste). Masala dosa was GREAT: cooked with very less oil, soft, the aloo stuffing had a nice tangy taste which went really well with the coconut chutney & sambhar. I was tempted to order the roasted_in_ghee dosa but i was full. Omlette was also big & evenly cooked.
I appreciated the kind, cordial & sincere nature of the staff. I would choose & recommend this place to anybody looking for a great breakfast or evening snack with friends/family. You will leave...
Read moreWe stayed in Goa for 15 days. We ate in so many places. But this is a small restaurant we found near our stay. At first we planned to give a try, but we got impressed by their hospitality. The guy named “zac” is a youngster who manages the restaurant with his family. They became like our own family during the visit. We ordered some traditional Goa food which is not in their menu, which they made it specially for us on request. The type of food which you cannot get in other restaurants. Food was delicious with a reasonable price and freshly made. We used to call and order food and they will specially prepare for us. We played our favourite song in their music system and had our food at times. Overall a wonderful and peaceful place for breakfast,...
