Visited the restaurant to try local Goan food. We ordered the following dishes -
Recheado Masala fry (Kingfish)
Goan fish curry
Rotis and rice
We had never tried Recheado earlier hence thought of going ahead with it. First of all, the portion size was very less. It was a very thin cut slice of the fish which did not justify the price. However, the disappointment was that the masala fry wasn't a fry at all. It was coated with the masala and that's that. Unfortunately due to a lack of knowledge of its preparation we couldn't figure it out. On further communication with a few friends and videos I realised the preparation was the not the one it usually is. Especially if it is a Goan restaurant the recipe should be the same :( dint turn out to be that.
The Goan fish curry was average, just like any other local Goan restaurant. Not worth the price.
Rotis are made of Maida, so recheck before you order.
I would suggest that the Thali is always a better option, as I could see in the Google reviews that the size of the Fish fry in the thali is the same as the one we ordered separately, which led to a higher bill. Plus rice has to be ordered separately, not served with the curry as was the case on some other restaurants I...

Read moreWent to this Restaurant in Feb,24. It was a real good experience. Based on that went today as well around 1250pm however it turned out to be a very bad decision.
Pros. Pork Dish (Vindaloo & Chilli) Nice tender meat and tasty.
Cons. Ordered 4thali (1king fish, 2chonak, 1 prawn) & 1 Puri Bhaji. But only received 3 thali. The person who took the order never came out and the other person at the reception said we only ordered 3. When we were 5pax. Ordered Mohito however we received the virgin one. On asking the person replied it's not virgin as he mixed 60ml of white rum. Didn't felt like it at all. Didn't confronted him as I was not in a mood. Ordered around 1255pm and the food came 1345. It's almost an hour wait for the thali. Which is ridiculous to say the least. Now the thali quality and quantity. The Chonak was rubbery and you can feel it stored in the fridge for a very long time. No seasoning and taste. Plus rest of the thali items were avarage. Personally Exorbitant with respect to the variety,...
