G-Shot is my go-to spot! I’ve been here multiple times, and let me tell you—it never disappoints. Here’s why I absolutely love this place:
Food The food at G-Shot? Fresh. Top-notch. Delicious. They use organic, high-quality ingredients, and you can actually taste the love in every bite. I mean, is it even a meal if it doesn’t taste like it was made with heart and soul? Their dedication shows in everything from their egg sandwich (one of the best I’ve ever had!) to their flakey, perfectly sweet almond croissant.
Coffee Now, let’s talk coffee—because these guys seriously know their beans. It’s some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, not just in India, but anywhere. You can feel the passion and precision in every cup. And get this—they sell their beans, so you can take that G-Shot magic home with you.
Baked Goods Oh, and don’t get me started on the croissants. Seriously, how do they make them so perfect? The flaky layers, the buttery richness—you can tell they bake with talent and precision, and the quality ingredients shine through. Best croissants I've had in a long time.
Service + People This is where G-Shot really stands out. The staff? Sweet and attentive. The owners? Absolute legends. They’re the kind of people you could chat with about anything—whether it’s coffee, life. The whole vibe at G-Shot feels like a warm hug, which, let’s be honest, we all need these days.
Bonus: The Little Shop They’ve also got a cute little shop at the entrance where you can pick up some amazing, healthy, organic products. It’s like G-Shot saying, “Hey, take a little piece of us home with you!” And trust me, you’ll want to.
So, if you’re in Goa and haven’t visited G-Shot yet, what are you even doing? With incredible food, next-level coffee, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this...
Read moreSearched for “best coffee shops near me” on google and the 2nd or 3rd result was G-Shot in Assagao. It was a nice 10 min scooty ride from Vagator. The cafe is hidden inside a village and is probably the only cafe around so basically you cannot just stumble upon and reach G-Shot. You have to plan and come here - that effectively means that the majority of the customers there are there for good coffee. Had a detailed chat with Sid, one of the co-founders - he is passionate, knowledgeable, and entrepreneurial. G-Shot coffee and food quality are outstanding - they are clearly not cutting any corners - it is a bit pricier though If you compare it with other similar places.
I tried the pour-over made from “Geisha” bean of Kelagur Heights estate in Chikmaglur. Light roast with a tint of mango in the flavour profile. The taste was unbelievably clean and flavourful! Nicely served with a glass and a beaker.
G-Shot roast their coffee using a micro-roasters (micro-batches of 1 Kg each). Sid and the team are pretty anal about getting the flavour right. Ensuring the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) doesn’t go outside the limits. Funnily enough, the same barista had served me coffee in another cafe in the past. A small world of good passionate baristas!
The seating space can host about 30ish people and has a relaxed garden setting.
I am eagerly waiting for them to start selling beans online so that I can...

If you’re in Goa and love good coffee, G Shot Coffee & Roastery in Assagao is an absolute gem! We loved everything about this place – from the warm service to the incredible food.
We visited twice during our trip and both experiences were outstanding. The first time, we reached a bit late and the bakery had closed, but the staff and owners went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated!
On our second visit, we got to enjoy their amazing coffees again. One of the coolest things here is that they roast their beans in-house and serve each cup with a little note detailing the origin of the beans and the roasting process – such a thoughtful touch for coffee enthusiasts.
The breakfast menu is equally impressive. We had poached eggs on avocado toast – the sourdough is baked in-house and was just perfect. We also tried their freshly baked croissants and an authentic Turkish-style shakshuka, all of which were delicious.
The staff here is genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful – it makes the experience...
