The Food let the whole experience down ! Atmosphere had a pleasant and calm vibe but food did not live up to the setting Dishes ordered were salty , basic not like how upscale it is described on the menu Not a single dish was as elevated as the menu seemed !
Pesto roasted Chonak too salty bland absolutely no flavours and fish dint taste as chonak at all .tasted lik a basa
Lamb dumplings were pathetic Pita vd tzatziki vd some olives and greens at teh side Vd lamb balls dipped in Chinese sauce ! Just not palatable !
Chermula braised Chicken legs was like a pretty basic grilled chicken again salty and spicy served on a bed of salad
charred pork skewers -no complaints but nothing special at all
Food was so underwhelming that we dint have the guts to order a main dish
complimentary focaccia - basic lacked flavour complimentary crème brûlée was another letdown. It didn’t taste anything like a proper brûlée—no crisp caramelized top, no rich custard flavor, just a flat, forgettable dessert
Cocktails sounded very creative but very uninspiring just like the food !
presentation felt like it was trying too hard to be upscale without delivering on actual flavor or quality.
Being the only table occupied for the night The staff kept clearing the table repeatedly Felt very unwelcoming and uncomfortable!
Definitely woulnt recommend if you are looking for a good...

The menu suggests a delightful mix of traditional Goan dishes and innovative fusion cuisine, each prepared with fresh, local ingredients. We tried their coolers like lemon water and kokum cooler throughly refreshing Also tried Cafreal chicken skewers with aioli, Cheesy goan chorizo and potato croquet with red pepper dip, Pesto roasted chonak with olive oil drizzle and Spiced pork chops with green apple and citrus salad and pan juices.Every dish was par excellence 😘 And the dinner just could not end without their mesmerisingly delicious dessert-Stuffed churros white chocolate mousse with hot chocolate sauce 😍 Wow what a delight !
The experience was truly elevating as the owner himself Mr. Yash briefed us about his place and took keen interest in getting the feedback for his already amazing dishes 😌friendly staff Neil and Kapil who went above and beyond to ensure everything was served with perfection to us😇With reasonable prices and generous portions, Tagi Restaurant offers excellent value for money. Picture this: a cocktail served in a teacup, warm sunshine, and easy conversations, sounds perfect, right?
Their menu offers a fresh spin on global flavors with simple, high-quality ingredients. Some standouts include the Stir-Fried Jasmine Rice with Steamed Chonak - but if you aren’t a fan of ginger and pandan, you might want to skip the chonak. The Chicken Masala Skewers, paired with a creamy garlic aioli dip, are bursting with flavor, while the Roasted Veggie Salad with Almond Dressing steals the show with its nutty, well-balanced dressing. The Marinated Cauliflower Steak is hearty and satisfying too.
But the Lamb Mince Pide is the real showstopper. This Turkish-style flatbread is topped with perfectly seasoned minced lamb, just the right amount of spice, and gooey melted cheese. The fresh basil leaves add a bright contrast, balancing out the richness beautifully.
Set in a lush, open space, Tagi's rustic, laid-back ambiance is ideal for both brunch and dinner. And with the weather setting down, the vibes are only getting better! 🤗
