This is always one of my “must visit” places whenever I’m in South Goa. The ‘by the sea’ ambience, the prolific menu, the courteous staff and the taste of Goa; you name it and you get it.
The open-sky extended veranda, just outside the main dining courtyard surrounded by coconut trees, is the best place of my choice. Specially for smokers, this is the place; enjoy your puff by the bay; take 4-5 steps down the stairs from veranda. Not everyday, but on occasions I guess they arrange for live music by astoundingly talented singers/musicians. On 25 December, we got lucky to experience one such evening to remember.
Not all but most of foods are sumptuous and quantity is just right till your belly & heart can fit. Quality of pork is great, can try for sure if you’re a meat lover. Calamari dishes are also must try if you’re fond of seafood. Last but not least, fried coconut ice cream is the delicacy you must not miss while closing the cheque.
For 4 wheelers, you have to park outside the place about 50 meters by the approach road and take a ramp. For 2 wheelers, you can park on the ramp just outside the main entrance even though space is limited. Whenever I visited them, I found decent crowd and not a mad crowded place at all. I will surely venture again next time whenever I visit South Goa,...

First look:The entrance at the back was shady and dark and you have to park at the side of the road. It's an upward slope so you have to walk up that ☺️
Ambience: Great open air as well as sheltered area for dinning. Not crowded.Spacey,Chairs a bit old/worn out. Overall nice/lovely Beach view.
Serving:
The actual waiter was fine. Before him some perhaps head of waiters or someone. He could have been the owner . Don't remember. In any case he seemed to have an attitude and that bothered me.
Starters: Thread chicken- Similar to dragon chicken in most restaurants.Just with finer wrapped noodles around the chicken piece.
Wonton garlic soup-MEH.its ok. Sautéed garlic bits and chicken stock with the steamed wontons.Ok if you're sick and need light food.
Shez chicken(gravy)- Good quality sauces used ,was definitely good .Blind go to dish. Can be shared by three people.
Cheese and ham naan- OK.not bad.Not phenomenal. Quality is good.just not like amazing or anything.
Roti- Good quality.Nothing much to say.
The bill came to about 1500 ish with the tip.
I don't hate the place, its nice.Depends.We didn't order any alcohol,The staff seemed a bit pushy. Not forceful but maybe annoying slightly.
Would I visit it again? Yeah, but not if I'm going to enjoy myself.Maybe for social...
Read moreWent here on a Saturday night, Karaoke.
Ambience:
Definitely a bit crowded, But it's a lovely place to enjoy an evening. The host made sure the Karaoke was absolutely enjoyable and the overall noise level never reached annoying.
Food:
When I went, I ordered only two things The honey smoked chicken and Mickey's Special beef Steak
First thing to be noted is their portions are large, I was surprised to see the amount of Chicken given to me as a solo diner.
Their honey smoked chicken was great, it had a sweet tinge to it but left my throat with an afterburn, 8/10.
On to the highlight of the evening, The steak
Mickey's special was a beef steak covered in this thick sauce mixed with capsicum and sliced mushrooms.
While it wasn't exactly a masterpiece of art on the presentation aspect, the Beef was cooked beautifully, all the vegetables were soft and tasted fresh. Though a bit heavy, it left my stomach happy and a smile on my face.
Staff:
Being a solo diner, you usually get little to no attention initially, this wasn't the case here as even though the place was absolutely brimmed with people, A waiter brought me my food on time and we even had a small conversation.
Overall, Lovely experience and I would definitely recommend this place for a quality...
