Oh LaLa — Restaurant in Goa

If I have to describe this place for a vegan, then I can only say this "Order mocktails, click pictures but don't, I repeat, don't dare order vegan food, because that will be your non vegan meal"

I visited this place for lunch on 18th Dec' 22. The place wasn't over crowded, but still they managed to mess up my food order.

I ordered a veg pesto pasta, clearly mentioned that I am a vegan, in fact I even asked to avoid mushrooms if they put it in the dish, but guess what they did everything well to prepare the dish but when it came to serving, this was messed up, and messed up is still a softer tone, comparable to the horrific experience that I had been made to face

This led to me not only leaving without having anything else but also not having anything for 4-5 hours. The thought that I unknowingly had the first two bites is still giving me nightmares.

They are taking some basics of the hospitality industry for granted.

FOOD is the priority. Don't disappoint the customer with that.

If this can happen when the place is not fully populated, then imagine what can happen when it is crowded.

No distinction between veg and non veg dishes is something that they shouldn't take for granted.

An experience that I wished to remember is now an experience that I want to erase from my memories.

None of the owner or co promoters are even interested in talking over this issue. That's how ignorant they are...

It is highly unethical to withhold such information and feels like a deceitful tactic to make patrons spend more money than they had intended.

Adding insult to injury, the demeanor of the staff was abysmal. They exhibited an appalling level of rudeness and indifference towards customers. It felt as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us into their establishment. Any attempts to seek clarification or express dissatisfaction were met with dismissive attitudes and condescending remarks. It was an incredibly disheartening experience that left me questioning why I had chosen to spend my time and money at “Oh lala.”
