Siddhi Pure Veg Udupi Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Just your run of the mill Udipi cafe. The restaurant is maintained very clean. Quite tricky especially in the rainy season as there are stairs which are not planned well that is the only access point to the restaurant. The menu is all Udipi however there is inclusion of Goan bhajj pav, which is quintessential for any veg restaurant now. We ordered a Vada which I will not recommend, there was a typical smell of oil which revealed the oil used is not of good quality, the coconut chutney was runny. Tea was good and was served in a mud replica cup. I have had some snacks here before and everything served is very ordinary. Lovely place to eat amazing Dosa. I wish I was here longer so I could eat the entire menu. Day 1 I ordered the Butter Masala Dosa followed by a Masala Dosa both were crispy with a mild masala potato filling, the Sambal was nicely spiced and not too hot. The waiter brought additional Sambal and coconut chutney when needed. My wife ate the Puri Bhaji which was also very good. Day 2 I ordered the Paper Masala Dosa. OMG this was the largest Dosa I have ever seen. It was almost as wide as the table and I thought I’d never finish it all. We loved the food. We stayed in a hotel nearby and went there for dinner some evenings. As vegetarians in a vegetarian restaurant, it was so great to be able to simply go for something from the menu we did not know yet. And there is so much to try we were almost overwhelmed with choice. Wonderful experience. We tried different dishes in a few days and liked them better than in other restaurants we went to. Pricing is great!
