A mixed set of experiences. I'll share some of them. We were a group of 2 siblings with our spouses and one infant. We had an infant for which we needed hot milk at a late hour. Staff cooperated and provided it. So 👍🏻. Earlier, they had assured they'll provide weighing machine for us to eeigh our luggage for flight. Later on, they mentioned night staff had kept it somewhere so couldn't provide. So 👎🏻. The restaurant washroom on the ground floor had cockroach in washbasin, so 👎🏻. The food was excellent. So, 👍🏻. The staff suggested a cafe - Cafe Paprika where we got 25% discount being from Hawaii Comforts. The ambience and food taste at the cafe was very good. So, 👍🏻. However, during shifting rooms/checking in or out, we had to wait at times for over an hour. So, 👎🏻. The rooms and washrooms were clean with AC, TV, hot water, kettle etc. So, 👍🏻. The AC in room 306 leaked water, which staff fixed after calling in a technician that took 3 hrs of our stay with the staff present in room. So, 👎🏻. We asked for a non-smoking room and got one so,👍🏻. Right outside our room, we were greeted with smell of cigarette smoke everytime we cane back from siteseeing or went to for some fresh air. So, 👎🏻. The staff was very polite and tried helping with everyone they could, so 👍🏻. However, one particular lady at the reception who was among the taller ones and wore non-staff clothes (so could be part of owners) was unaware of the 1 hr late checkout we had talked about with the regular staff we had been meeting for 3 days already and talked pretty absurdly and borderline rudely with us and never apologised, even when her teammates did on her behalf. She must be a senior, so 👎🏻👎🏻.

Overall, the experience was pretty good except the last conversation with a senior lady at reception. Among the staff, we interacted with: 2 guys in restaurant - both smiling and providing best service they can. 2 girls at the reception - both always smiling. They were very polite and understanding. One night staff guy at the reception - Though reviews mention him being rude, we didn't find that. We found him being less talkative but very decent and helpful even at odd hours. One lady at the reception - Didn't look like staff as she wasn't dressed like the rest. But she was part of the team as she called our room once. Terrible behaviour. Pathetic attitude. May be she was in a bad mood already but even after talking to her during checkout, she didn't seem accepting and apologetic at all. Talking over someone, being ungrateful, not accepting own mistake - that's not the last impression you want to send someone away with, especially someone who extended the stay because of initial good experience.

Can I come here again? Yes. Are there better places available? Most certainly, yes!

Location is good. Use the road from this property to visit Dona Paula. It's a side street where barricading isn't an issue and so parking at the square and walking all the way won't be needed.

There are no rooms except 1, with views of ocean, whatever the room description says. And the room description is very confusing - Some Luxury rooms are larger but have smaller bathrooms than Super deluxe. Economy and Deluxe mean the same thing. No clear difference between Deluxe and Super Deluxe. What's more confusing? They have different names on different websites and room pics don't exactly match the room.

Wifi is abrupt bith during day time and night time.

They have trees and most of the rooms don't have direct sunlight so rooms won't feel very hot, at least to people from tropical regions.

Good parking space...

Very disappointing experience. We had done online booking and all the charges were paid in advance. On arrival at the hotel, the person on reception told us we have balance of around INR450. We told him to provide us the details on the paper; accordingly we can clear if any payment is outstanding from ourside. We had booked the hotel for 2 nights i.e.check in on 25th Aug'18 n check out on 27th August'18 morning. On 26th August, we went for outing in the afternoon. As per the hotel rules, we had to submit the keys at the reception. While giving the keys, we informed not to do the room service in our absence. In the evening, when we returned to the hotel, we asked for the room service. But we were informed that housekeeping staff is not available in the evening. As we entered the room, we noticed room service is already done without our permission. All the towels, room linen was exchanged. We just kept our shopping bags n went for outing again. We returned hotel around 9.45 pm. We had dinner in their restaurant and were back to our room. My both the kids slept immediately due to long outing entire day. Around 11.30 pm, my husband got fresh and he used the towel in the washroom. He came out saying how come these towel has yellow stains? The housekeeping kept that stained towel nicely on the washroom shelf. As it was late night, we ignored their mistake and avoided to inform tthem. We never knew that our this kind gesture will boomrang us. Next day, at the time of checkout, we asked to let us know for any outstanding dues which they informed us at the time of arrival. We knew that there should not be any such dues. Then hotel management also confirmed as no outstanding payment. While leaving the room, the housekeeping took the keys and entered the room. Before I reach the reception from the steps, this housekeeping boy brought that towel and was discussing with his superior. This scene was so quick as anyone can make out its hotel management's pre-planned game to trap the guests. They blamed us for that stained towel and started demanding INR 375. We straightforwardly denied to pay it as it was complete fault by the hotel and why we should pay it? Mr. Sanjay who was claming himself as an owner of the hotel started arguing with us. Hence, we called Goa Police to sort out the issssue. At that time, this fellow gave such a statement it doesn't matter to them if police comes, he can handle them easily. As we had to catch our train with two small kids, we decided to settle down the matter by paying INR 200. We wanted to take it further and put this management behind the bar but we were running short of time. So people, its worst tactics to cheat the customers. Some important points to highlight are, Room servicing without permission. Keeping stained towel in our absence. Hotel employees introducing himself as Hotel owner. As per Laundry Charges in the hotel, it was costing INR 40 for towel and demand was for INR 375. (almost 10 times) Initially all the scene was glorified then reality was revealed at the end. Never ever think of Hotel Hawaii Comforts. Very cheap mentality...

Inexperienced staff, unorganized hospitality, very limited and repetitive breakfast options, rude tone of staff, average hygiene - not good for infants, no lift in property, lack of help - no extra miles offered by property staff - Few guiding notes for future travelers - inexperience staff (alibied as new recruit by authority) made my family (including 2 yrs old infant) wait at lobby after a long travel just because the payment was not through by their faulty card terminal, no empathy shown. I met a manager (guess he was, name starts with V) at the lobby and he appeared with quite a rude tone when asked for invoice they demand full payment at the check-in else you will be shown door they have faulty card machines and compel you to swipe card multiple times - not safe for cashless transactions location is off-route so you may NOT expect frequent communication modes i.e., auto/taxi etc. You will need to walk pass uphill to the main road for commuting elsewhere unless you have your own vehicle arrangement - not good for elderly travelers even for a 5 lit water bottle, you need to walk far. Hotel restaurant can provide you only 1 lit bottled water and they charge 5 Rs extra + tax. They also charge 10% additional on room service - loot!!! food quality was hell pathetic. They use same sauce for every preparation, be it with chicken, paneer or fish. Infact the chef badly needs a performance review. Never order food from kitchen, you would otherwise starve with overpriced dishes. Reminding - you DO NOT have restaurants within the orbit of few kilometers, so you are infact helpless to taste there tasteless food you would get room service after a long wait. I spotted housekeeping is using the same brush to clean wash basin he used to clean toilet pot...indeed very filthy yeah.!! I could sense restaurant manager was ridiculing and commenting on our breakfast intake, though it was in local language...we ain't that fool DO NOT expect transport assistance from them, they will force you to book first and then charge you incase you change your mind at the check-out, they failed to provide invoice with an excuse of unavailability of their regular staff I believe they don't treat customers equally who book through other travel sites and directly with them - my feeling though

Please DO NOT turn to be a fool unlike us who have blindly followed rating - did not...

Unfortunately, I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a car driver hired through your hotel's services. My partner and I rented a car service with a driver for the day (April 15, 2024), arranging payment directly to the hotel via card. The service was supposed to include 8 hours or 80 kilometers, with an additional fee for extra hours. Throughout the day, the driver made several mistakes, leading us to incorrect destinations and causing us to walk in hot weather, wasting time and kilometers. Additionally, he requested parking fees for a place we did not request to visit, which seemed unnecessary. On our way to the airport, the driver unexpectedly demanded an extra payment in cash, citing additional kilometers driven. This request seemed unjustified, especially considering we had clearly communicated the airport as our final destination. The situation escalated when the driver stopped the car far from the airport, turning off the air conditioning and refusing to proceed until we paid the extra cash. This left us feeling vulnerable and concerned about missing our flight. Ultimately, we managed to resolve the issue by agreeing to withdraw cash from an ATM near the airport. While the extra payment was not substantial, it was a disappointing experience that tarnished an otherwise enjoyable stay at your hotel. I understand that the actions of the car driver are beyond your control, but I wanted to bring this incident to your attention in the hope that future guests can avoid similar situations. Perhaps reconsidering partnerships with the car company or providing clearer guidance to guests could help prevent such occurrences in the future. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope this helps improve the overall guest experience at your establishment. Warm regards.

Forget Baga, Calangute, or Condolim, I would recommend staying in Dona Paula near Panjim city centre. This makes it easy to travel to South and North Goa. We loved our stay at the Hawaii Comforts hotel. The corner room we got was a Deluxe with double balconies, mega size bathroom and shower cubicle, and direct views to the Dona Paula beach from our bed. The room was spotlessly clean and hygienic and the staff always helpful, smiling and very courteous. The reception will help arrange cabs for you for tourist as well as short distance travel. Breakfast at this hotel included regular options such as fruits, cereals, eggs to order, juice, and one Indian breakfast item that changed everyday. I wasn't too impressed with the main course and would recommend sticking to starters. Near by amenities include Kamat supermarket where you get all your essentials as well as a wide range of alcohol. The Dona Paula beach is 30 seconds away and you can just wear your shorts, tee and flip flops and head there in the mornings and early evenings. You will find a treasure trove of shells at this small beach along with the neighborhood dogs and pups. A 10 minute walk brings you to the promenade, street cafes and tourist shops.

We directly booked with the hotel for 3 people and they checked us in to their luxury room, that is the best room available. Their room charges are at the higher end. The bathroom is kinda small but well maintained, which provides water according to your preferred temperature. They provided shampoo, soap, moisturizer and one hand towel and 3 shower towels with shower cap. The room was very spacious with big TV and AC with 2 fans. It included one king size bed and one single bed for adult. The balcony was spacious with sitting facility outside with 2 chairs n one table. The room had full size mirror 🪞 in case you want to take entire outfit picture. It had one almirah and few more table spaces inside to keep ur luggage, shoes and have food. The view from balcony is not that great means no beach view. Best part is they provide water in glass bottles. Such plastic free movement highly appreciated. Just one advice: they are charge huge service charge if you order food in your room. Better have food in the ground floor in the eating area.
