Dona Paula Classic Hotel — Hotel in Goa Island

We got the worst room in the hotel, i guess. Literally a box without any windows. Could hardly sleep because of feeling discomfort. At the time of check-in, the previous occupants of the room had apparently left a large piece of a cake inside the cupboard (probably after cake-cutting celebration) which had attracted an army of ants in the room. I wonder how the staff allotted us the room without checking it. And the bedsheets were not clean either. Do not get into this room if you are claustrophobic. Of course it was a last minute booking, but they shouldn't build a room this small and non-ventilated and charge the same as other rooms (which they project in the pictures with windows and balconies). The only saving grace was the prime location of the hotel and the table and chairs in the common room. Staff were ready to help, even though it felt they themselves were helpless trapped in that...

Would not recommend this hotel(hut) to anyone, no matter how cheap the rate is or closest to a tourist destination. This place needs major renovation. Hotel lacks a lot of facilities majorly with network connectivity. Wi-Fi doesn’t work the fans. Don’t work. The washroom tap doesn’t work. The windows are rusted. The location is lovely...calm n quite....it is near to bus stand... ..could go easily to Panjim in just 15 min......The eateries are also nearby... specially SIDDHI ( for best south indian food ) . Gud for backpackers n couples who prefer no disturbance ... The staff is gud n helpful.... Only thing that it lacks on is cleanliness...
