We had a very nice Dinner at the Restaurant. The food was good, the Service at Our table very nice and competent, the View is stunning and we really appreciated the live music.
For us as Europeans it was very spicy and the Mocktails very sweet, but we actually experienced that in other Locations as well, so we could have said something beforehand. Beside that we absolutely enjoyed the food, very lovely and creative recipes!
Weve been Wondering a bit about the Service Charge at the bill, but we just accepted it and it was totally okay. Without it we would have probably given 10 instead of 5%. But Not a big Deal...
The only Thing that really bothered us was our arrival. We were asking to have a look at th menu which was directly given to us then. When I asked if we could sit right at the seaside the staff told me they would charge 1500(or 2500, Not sure) extra for it. We were immediately about to turn around and go, but the staff rejected it right away and told us we could just take a seat without any extra charge. We felt very weird about it and were a bit unsure if it was serious (since we never experienced such before) or rather just an Anti-Western swindle. We would highly recommend to avoid those situations or if it's serious to write it down for transparency's sake.
However, we really enjoyed the...
Read morePlease do not visit here. I decided to take my lone female employee out for dinner on the occasion of Women's Day and we were terribly disappointed. The only good thing about this place is the location and sea view. We ordered Squids Chilli Fry, Seafood Noodles, Drunken Chicken and 2 Fresh lime sodas.
The Squid Masala was badly cooked and portion size was very small for the price paid. The Seafood Noodles were just kept on the table by the waiter without even asking if we'd like to be served. Also we had to remind him to get the Chinese cruet set which was ideally supposed to be placed before the dish was served. The Drunken Chicken wasn't very different from a regular Schezwan Chicken and tasted very mediocre. The entire meal was a disappointment which ended up with both of us having upset tummies maybe due to the prawns in the Seafood Noodles. Once the bill arrived, I proceeded to give my genuine feedback on their tab. A couple of minutes later one of the senior employees came to the table asking what the issue was and I explained the above points to him. He did not apologize nor make any attempt towards service recovery. Overall a very inhospitable place. Oh yes and to top it off we had to pay a 10% service charge on the...
