Titlie Culinary Bar in Vagator, Goa, is undeniably a visual delight. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of aesthetic wonderment that seems tailor-made for your Instagram feed. The place is beautifully decorated, boasting a charming ambiance that oozes contemporary chic with a touch of bohemian flair. Without a doubt, it's an ideal spot for those seeking to capture that perfect Insta-worthy moment.
The interiors of Titlie Culinary Bar are thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail is commendable. Soft pastel hues, trendy décor, and cozy seating arrangements contribute to an atmosphere of casual elegance. It's hard not to be impressed by the tasteful layout, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed evening with friends or even a cozy date night.
The presentation of the dishes deserves special praise; they are served with an artistic finesse that elevates the dining experience. Each plate looks like a masterpiece, a feast for the eyes before even tasting. It's evident that the restaurant's focus on aesthetics is a top priority and has been executed skillfully.
However, despite its undeniable charm, Titlie Culinary Bar falls short in the most crucial aspect - the food itself. While the menu offers a decent variety, the quantity served often leaves diners wanting more, especially considering the price being paid. Portions are on the smaller side, and it might not be the best place for those with hearty appetites.
Unfortunately, the disappointment doesn't end with portion sizes. Taste-wise, the dishes often fail to live up to the expectations set by their presentation. Flavors lack the depth and complexity that one would expect from a restaurant that prides itself on culinary excellence. Some dishes might even come across as bland or uninspired, leaving diners unsatisfied and longing for more.
Another aspect that could use improvement is the service. While the staff is generally friendly, their attentiveness can be inconsistent, resulting in longer waiting times and occasional mix-ups with orders. Given the establishment's relatively high prices, a higher level of service efficiency is expected to match the overall dining experience.
All in all, Titlie Culinary Bar has the potential to be a truly outstanding destination for both food and aesthetics. The captivating ambiance and Instagram-worthy setting are hard to beat, making it an excellent place for a quick photoshoot or a casual hangout. However, to be a truly remarkable culinary experience, the restaurant needs to work on refining the taste and increasing the portion sizes of their dishes, ensuring that diners leave with a satisfied palate as well as a collection of stunning pictures. Until then, it remains a somewhat mixed option for those seeking a wholesome and fulfilling dining...

We were booked for 3pm on a Sunday (thankfully the only time when someone picked up the phone few days before our visit). When we reached at 3.10pm, we were told by a rude, arrogant, non-Indian waiter that our booking was from 5.30pm onward. After arguing for 10 mins and going through her chats she admitted that the booking was until 5.30pm and from 3pm (as we had been maintaining since our arrival). However, she was only able to offer us a table under the sun (it was 35C plus at that hour).
Finally some sense prevailed and another member of the staff was able to seat us under partial shade. The servers were equally arrogant and careless - we were served red sangria while we ordered white; we were served pasta that was extra spicy, while we told them it was for kids and with NO spices. The presentation was good (though cutlery had to be asked for on multiple occasions). I did like the pork tikka and the mango shrimp salad.
Shisha was obnoxiously priced..Inr 2,500/- for 45 minutes. We ordered two and they turned out to be the worst ones we've smoked ever (perhaps living in Dubai spoils you for choice when it comes to shisha). But we realised that the only other table that were courageous enough to order a shisha were also calling the shisha guy every 5 minutes - in a nutshell, its not their chillum of smoke (cup of tea).
I fail to understand how this place has climbed up the popularity charts like it has. Please go there with zero expectations, that is if you really really have to visit....
