Stayed here for 2 days. Had Booked 2 premium cottages. Below is quick Pros and Cons List.||Pros||1. Property Location: Close to beach||2. Nice cottage interiors as it seems newly built.||||Cons:||1. Very Bad Management and rude staff||2. If you're unlucky, you get cottage with worst view (check photo)||3. Accessibility of cottage is challenge. You would have to climb multiple flights of stairs on incline to reach cottage/hotel enterance. It is worst for highly priced premium cottages||4. Loud music comes all night on party days||5. Power Issues||6. Food is very pricy||||My experience||Property Location is nice and so are the cottage interiors, good things stop here. Staff service is seriously lacking. Starting from the checking in itself, we had troubles. Our room was given to us late. The person in-charge, Mr. Vinod was just telling us your check-in time is 2PM even though booking clearly mentioned 1PM. Rather than accepting hotel's mistake, he blamed it on booking website and asked us to follow up with them. I don't understand why would guest follow up with them, it should be hotel's responsibility to see that there listing is correct. Even for fresh bookings the check-in time is still being shown 1PM||||After lot of arguments and following up the cottage keys was finally handed at 2:30PM, with one of the cottages having a horrible view i.e. backside of another cottage and broken toilet seat. It was shocking to see that higher priced premium cottage will have such a view. It was so bad that we decided to downgrade to cheaper priced deluxe cottage. On second day, there were power troubles whole night. We could not sleep at all, as power was constantly going and coming, so AC could not cool properly. Subsequent morning there was no power at all, so we had to bathe with cold water as gyser weren't working and we had to check out early. To our amazement we discovered that power problem was only in the higher priced premium cottage, no such issues were there in deluxe cottage. On inquiring in the morning, the person in charge just told there are voltage issues in the area and the generator for cottages at lower level might not have been turned on without giving any reason why it wasn't turned on. ||Our cottage also did not have a working telephone extension, which they couldn't fix in the two days citing unavailability of material.||Food is very exorbitantly priced with bottle of water costing almost 90rs, although taste was good. ||||Another thing to mention, if you book the higher priced premium cottage be prepared to climb up and down more than 3 flights of stairs on incline, its no short of short mountain climb. We are a young couple, yet we had short breath by the time we reached hotel entrance from our cottage. On weekends or party days there will loud music sound coming into your room almost all night. Its worse for deluxe cottages as they are closer to dance floor. Overall if you have elderly people or small kids, don't just book here, its not at all friendly for them.||||*Please hit the HELPFUL link below if you found this review useful. Read moreWe recently visited this bar on Sunday night at 10.30 pm. The bar has 3 kind of seatings- indoor, outdoor near bar and outdoor near pool.
Table near pool is available at 10k for minimum billing. We chose a table near bar. We were told that if we want table service from bar then we will have to order a miminum of 5k as we were 5 people. We already were coming from another bar so we chose self service.
In terms of management, the bar has some issues for sure. The staff was getting incorrect bill everytime for the drinks. First what we ordered was red bull and a cocktail for which 3 times, incorrect bill was given.
Sheesha at first was not great but then the staff changed the flavour and it was good to go. (Prized at 2000 rs)
Paneer tikka was too spicy so its a great option for spicy lovers. We ordered french fries with mayonnaise as we were here just for munching and to try a new place. (Total paid Rs. 700)
Eat india co. cocktail which is gin and lime- tasted really good. Refreshing drink indeed! Sangria (red wine) with fresh fruits was perfect for the night. We ordered Aam Panna (without alcohol) and whiskey with coke as well.
We loved how the bartender was making these drinks! But the only concern- they did not give the bill so heads up if some1 visits this bar after reading our review to ask for bill as many times as possible. We did the same but then gave up as we waited for drinks too long so wanted go sit. (Paid Rs. 1200 + 250)
Techno music lovers- this is a must visit place. Crowd consisted of foreigners/ cream crowd of Goa- we would say!!! This place honestly didn’t work for us but might...
